Chapter 15

Arjun had gone mad with worry, searching frantically for Mira. He couldn't hold back his tears, devastated by the mere thought of something severe happening to her.

Mira was hiding, exhausted and in agony, as the men in the black car pursued her. When they heard the police sirens, they fled, leaving Mira behind. Her leg was wounded, and she was struggling to move.

Arjun, accompanied by hundreds of men, was frantically searching for her, calling out her name. He was on the verge of losing control, his anxiety and fear for Mira's safety overwhelming him.

Summoning her last bit of strength, Mira began walking again, despite her injuries. Her head was bleeding, her legs were wounded, and her arms bore cigarette burns. She was exhausted and terrified.

Just as she heard someone calling her name, she recognized Arjun's voice. She tried to speak, but couldn't muster a single sound. Overcome with fear and pain, she collapsed.

The police quickly called for sniffer dogs, and as they searched the whole outskirts area, the dogs finally picked up Mira's scent and found her lying on the ground, unconscious.

As they  located Mira, Arjun rushed to her side, embracing her and calling out her name. They rushed her to the hospital, where Arjun was devastated by the sight of her injuries. Blood oozed from her head, her clothes were soaked in blood, and her hands and legs were severely wounded.

Enraged, Arjun ordered the officers to catch the perpetrators within the hour. Mira was taken to a well-known and reputed hospital, where the doctor examined her.

Arjun, Mira's parents Nishant and Naina, were all at the hospital, anxiously waiting for news about Mira's condition. The doctors were examining her, and then one of them called Arjun aside to brief him on her condition. "She has a fractured leg, stitches on her head from where the goons banged her, and burn marks from cigarettes on her arms," the doctor explained. "She's severely traumatized, scared, and keeps getting fits due to fear."

Arjun struggled to hold back his tears, but his eyes blazed with anger and wrath. He was determined to make those responsible pay for what they had done to Mira. He immediately called the DGP, demanding that the culprits be caught faster. Then, he called his friend Ajay Taneja, who had connections with illegal dealings, and growled, "I want those bastards in an hour.”

Mira lay unconscious on the hospital bed, helpless, fragile, and wounded. Arjun's heart ached as he gazed at her, yearning to take away her pain instantly. Mr. and Mrs. Sharma, Mira's parents, were beside themselves, crying frantically and praying to God for their daughter's better health. The scene was one of utter despair and desperation, with the three of them united in their anguish and concern for Mira's well-being.

When Arjun's phone buzzed, it was Ajay Tanuja on the line. "I've caught the car with the two men who tortured Mira," Ajay said, his voice firm and triumphant. Arjun's grip on the phone tightened as he processed the news, his anger and desire for revenge reigniting. "Where are they?" he growled, already knowing what he would do next.

Arjun's phone buzzed, and Ajay Tanuja's voice was on the other end. "I've caught the two men, come fast," he said. Arjun rushed out of the hospital, with Nishant following close behind. He drove the car recklessly, his anger and rage fueling his actions. Nishant was terrified as he watched Arjun's transformation.

When they arrived at the scene, a few kilometers off the highway, Arjun saw the black car surrounded by Ajay Tanuja's vehicles. He pulled out the two men, and his eyes widened as he recognized one of them - Rohan, an ex-employee of the Singhania company who had drugged Mira in New York.
