With a hiss the door opened and Luceya and her companion were greeted by excessive Bulletfire out of two dozen Autoguns and Stub Pistols. As Luceya lunged forwards and stabbed her blade inside the nearest crewman she looked at the Xeno tearing apart another three with nothing but a single arrow. She used the body of the still alive 'Assimilated' as a shield, and as such blocking the others line of fire while taking shots with her Needlespine Blaster taking out another two, ramming her sword into another one while then making a swing up and cutting their bodies in half vertically. Blood spewed all over the ground and intestines soon decorated the walls. With another move Luceya pierced another man to the wall and shot his neck out with a boltshell. Now another of the crewmen went in for a close quarters engagement and got his skull and neck caved in by her power-armoured fist where she again took a massive swing at the Captain and his Leftanent, decapitating both of them while shooting the last remaining men in the neck with another Needle shot.

As the last one fell to the ground just for a brief second there was a crackling of green energy and the Micro-Scarabs digital screeching again. Both now ran to the consoles. Luceya herself to the long-range Communications array, courtesy of the Necron, and he, to the console which oversaw energy consumption and weapons control. As he dialed up the power circuits schematics she had dialed up the system border comms array.
Come here. She signed towards her Servo-Skull which promptly came flying. Of course it already knew what it was supposed to do. She pressed the button and with a beeping sound the recording started. With a static sound the Servitor started translating:
,,To all imperial vessels in the area, this is Sister Luceya of the Silent Sisterhood. Erros 1 is under siege, I repeat Erros 1 is under attack by Nec-" then there was an interference sound and the recording cut off.
,,You really think that is going to work?" he asked from across the bridge.
,,It will, it must." came the voice out of the Servitor.
,,Where are you..." muttered the Alien incoherently while staring at the consoles.
Found it?
,,I'm checking for the highest energy consumption.", he made a brief pause while looking through another set of schematics, ,,It's remaining body would need a lot of energy to sustain its operability. So it must be near the engine compartment.", he paused again before letting out a silent cry of jubilation, ,,Found you. It's at the power Nexus, near the drive. That is where the biggest energy consumption is."
Then lets go. She said, wanting to storm ahead but he stopped her.
,,Wait, you can't just run after it. Not without a plan."
You said that we need to kill it to sever the Assimilateds connection. And in my mind that means as fast as possible, does it not?
,,Yes I said that,", he acknowledged, ,,but their are dozens of constructs inbetween us and it. You plan on taking them on with nothing but a sword and a bit of enthusiasm?"
Yes, that is exactly what I'm going to do. And you have no right to criticise me, Xenos.
And she stormed past him despite knowing that he was probably right. And she hated that fact. That a Xenos was lecturing her and was right to do so.
Outside the bridges shielded Plassteel windows the skirmish was still going on as two Imperial Corvettes desperately tried to pin the SDF's system Monitors against the orbiting Asteroid field. The ships exchanged Laser Weaponsfire and Particle blasts with none really decisively scoring any hits.
At least try to deactivate the weapons. Give them a bit of fire support.
,,I'll consider it." he said before she left the bridge and made her way towards the Necron.
This was the time to end it. It had lived its miserable existance for Millions of years too long.
,,Come on Sister, I challenge you. Come and try to take me out." The Necron said over the intercom.
,,Oh, I will." Luceya said. She would come for it. And she would kill it. There was no doubt about it.
It would die today.
