The sound of a powerful yell dominated the open space as the Goddess of Destruction, landed a fist into Nitrate's stomach. He gave a deep groan, but responded with his own punch that landed in her face and sent the woman flying. The explosion in response to their physical blows was so powerful that Earth's entire skies were cleared of clouds.

Such a feat was achieved from above  the planet.

Nitrate looked down at his tightened fist and took notice of how much it shook. His breathing was a harsh intake of whatever-was-in-space, and there seemed to be a difficulty in focusing on the battle before him. The tension in his muscles was rather distracting but the Arcosian pulled through.

Suddenly, Beera came rushing back towards him and tried to land another blow to his stomach. He caught the punch mid-swing and threw her away towards a random asteroid, which she shot right through like a bullet. The moment of recluse had not lasted for long as the goddess rushed back to continue their ascending brawl.

The two of them locked hands and pushed each other back with equal force. Beera strained for a moment against the Frost Demon's power, then released even more of her strength. In response, Nitrate opened his mouth and screamed out:

Nitrate: "KAIOKEN!!!"

Beera: "W-WOAH!!! How the hell did you--!!?"

The Goddess of Destruction cut herself short and focused on keeping herself in the fight. She could have unveiled more power, reaching almost 50%, but then she would be likely to earn the attention of the other destroyers; picking up divine Ki was considerably easier once it reached a certain tier, which meant her fellow gods would sense them.

Beera: "To think someone as strong as you could exist! No doubt, whatever training you've done to reach this level must have been challenging!"

The woman had spoken from the heart. The sheer power behind Nitrate's attacks was a testament to his natural abilities. However, this made it a bitter pill to swallow when he began laughing in her face and backed away to clear his throat from a cough.

Whis stood to the side, curious, and watched their interaction with equal bemusement; Beera was a difficult woman to impress. Receiving praise only to then laugh had been completely unexpected. However, whilst most would assume this to be an example of pride, it meant something different to both Whis and Beera who stood patiently.

Nitrate:
*laugh* "S-Sorry! I didn't mean to laugh so hard. That comment caught me off guard!"

Beera: "I fail to see how praising you is remotely funny. It was supposed to be a compliment."

Nitrate: "Well...it's just that I've never trained a day in my life until three years ago. My power is mostly natural, and even my recent training has been self-taught without a sparring partner."

Beera: "....What?"

The Goddess of Destruction was utterly bemused, unsure if she could trust Nitrate's words. She gave her angelic attendant a silent glare to request his assistance, but froze in shock when he seemed to respond with an equally confused expression. He looked disbelieving but also excited at the idea of finding someone with seemingly-endless growth.

Goku and Vegeta gave them both a glance, but decided to keep out of whatever was happening and focus on their own problems - trying to keep up with their friend in training. Not that it would mean anything at this point, considering how he was now keeping up with Beera in direct combat.

Nevertheless, Whis seemed to be extremely into the fight now and gave little heed to the people around him, opting to keep all his focus on who would win the fight. He had to admit, if he could reveal more power than this he might be able to withstand a little more of Beera's power.
