Chapter Thirty Three: Royal Advances

Several months had passed since Nitrate and Beera fought to decide the fate of the earth. Whis had begun teaching Nitrate more about fighting ever since he observed their battle, great feats of strength that pushed him to the pinnacle unlike any mortal before. 

The Arcosian was easily the greatest source of potential Whis had seen in his entire life, which was quite substantial considering his age.

The two of them also got along really well, a new bond formed during training and talks about the universe. It seemed Whis had a lot of stories, and Nitrate was interested to hear them all. Beera, in her usual jealous fashion, warned her attendant to keep his hands to himself, which earned her a laugh from the Angel before he agreed.

Now, both the Arcosian and Angel were having a small break traversing the planet as they shared more stories about their adventures. Nitrate was not surprised that Whis' were more interesting.

Nitrate: "So, Beera decided to blow up King Kai's planet...because she lost at hide and seek?"

Whis: *laugh* "Indeed. Lady Beera is quite fast to anger, as I'm sure you're aware. Her behaviour is infamous amongst the other destroyers."

Nitrate: "Wow... So, she jumped me on earth because she's impulsive? Probably one of the greatest honours I've received."

The angelic advisor chuckled in response before moving down the stone path, taking in the sights of fresh grass and vibrant trees. Nitrate notices a shift in Whis' posture as he begun to relax, and so he decided to do the same. The wind pressed the outline of the Arcosian's dense muscles.

He pondered how Beera would react when she woke up. The Goddess of Destruction had been more active since her visit to Earth, choosing to spend time with Nitrate rather than waste time resting in bed doing nothing.

As if summoned through mere thought, a sleepy yawn echoed across the grasslands from behind Nitrate and Whis, causing the duo to turn around to confirm that Beera was approaching them. As expected, she was strutting towards them in her sleepwear -- a thin nightgown that showed bust.

(Gave her bed hair. I love it.)

Nitrate attempted to keep his gaze upwards, not wanting to seem like a pervert, but Beera gave a disappointed glance when she noticed his lack of ogling her curvaceous form. He took the hint and looked down at her supple flesh, causing her to blush like a love-drunk schoolgirl.

Beera: "Can't get enough of me?~"

Nitrate: "What can I say - I have a good eye for fine art. Not my fault you look so delectable."

Beera giggled, using a hand to conceal her smile. The moment earned a silent celebration from the Frost Demon as he appreciated the way her dark eyelashes fluttered elegantly.
