*Trigger Warning: Cursing, Violence*
Nico failed to keep that promise.
A few days later, it was Friday now, he woke up with a pounding headache.
His mind immediately went into overdrive. He'd been planning on going back to school today, he didn't care enough about his dad to let it stop him from doing stuff, and Will had been bummed that they were missing out on stuff. For some reason the boy insisted on staying home with Nico, even though Nico said that he was fine on his own.
He didn't want to hold Will back from school anymore. So he decided to just power through it. He'd gone to school sick or injured enough times that he knew he could do it. He just had to hide it from Will.
He dragged himself out of bed. Will had insisted that he stay with him in his room, though he'd said that he could sleep on the couch. Will had actually been really clingy after what he'd found on monday, it was kind of annoying, but also cute.
He walked over to the bathroom and opened the door. He froze when he saw Kayla brushing her teeth.
"Sorry." He muttered, immediately closing it again and going back to Will's room.
"Nico, you're awake." Will smiled at him, coming up from downstairs.
"Yeah." He didn't have the energy to do this, but he would, for Will.
Will's eyebrows furrowed, "Are you okay? You look a little sick."
"I don't get sick." Nico walked back into the room to try and find his bag. He'd kinda lost it over the week he'd spent at the Solace's house, but now he needed it.
"Yes you do." Hazel called, walking past the room.
"Fottuto informatore." He called back to her, trying to ignore Will's concerned look, "Anyway, I'm fine."
"Fine is not fine," Will sat down on the bed, "Just because you feel like you're okay, or you feel like you can power through it, doesn't mean you should. You deserve to rest if you're feeling bad."
Nico just glared at him, he was stupidly smart sometimes. But Nico was stupidly stubborn sometimes too.
"But I don't need a break. Now leave so I can get changed."
Will raised an eyebrow, then smirked.
"I don't think I will. I'm not moving from this spot until you tell me what's wrong."
Nico flipped him off then went to the bathroom, but it was locked. From the sound it was most likely Kayla taking a shower. He grumpily went back to Will's room.
"You gonna talk now?" Will looked smug.
"Just leave." Nico snapped, "A meno che tu non voglia semplicemente vedermi spogliarmi."
"I don't know what you just said but I'm not leaving." Will smiled at him, that stupid blinding, beautiful smile.
"I said that you just want to see me undress." Nico snapped.
"And what if I do?" Will looked cockly. Nico immediately felt his face heat up.
"W-what?"
"I said, what if I just want to watch you change?"
"I- wha-" Nico was at a loss for words for once, what the fuck? "Shut up."
"Nope." Will smiled at him.
Nico glared at him, "I'm serious, get out. Now."
"This is my room, you can't just kick me out."
"Oh I can't?" Nico took a step forward and Will nervously scooted back.
