Rudransh felt as though he had stepped into a realm where time lost all meaning. The world outside continued to rush by, but inside this hospital room, every second dragged on with excruciating slowness. Mihitha lay still, her body covered by a white sheet, her face a haunting reminder of the accident. He couldn’t shake the image of her lifeless form from his mind. The beeping machines were a constant reminder of her struggle, each sound amplifying the desperation clawing at his heart.

He sat beside her, holding her hand tightly, trying to convey all the love he felt, all the words left unspoken. “Mihitha,” he began, his voice thick with emotion. “I know you can’t hear me right now, but I need you to wake up. I can’t do this without you.” He leaned closer, his forehead resting against her hand, tears streaming down his face.

“Please, sweetheart. You have to fight for us. For our baby. I can’t imagine raising Nila without you. You’re everything to her. You’re everything to me,” he pleaded, his heart shattering with each word. He felt so utterly alone in that moment, drowning in a sea of despair.

“You promised me forever,” he continued, his voice barely a whisper. “You told me we would grow old together, that we would watch our little girl grow up, that we would make a million memories. I can’t bear the thought of losing you now, when we were finally starting to build our lives together.”

Rudransh squeezed her hand, desperate for any sign that she could hear him. “I’m so sorry for what happened. I should have been more careful. I should have protected you. It’s my fault. If I could take it all back, I would in a heartbeat. I would do anything, Mihitha, anything to see you smile again.”

He paused, the weight of his words settling heavily in the air. “I remember the first time you told me you loved me. I was so terrified of opening my heart, but you made it so easy. You brought light into my life, and now it’s all darkness without you.”

Rudransh wiped his eyes, trying to regain some composure, but the tears flowed freely. “You were my rock, my everything. You made me believe in love, in hope, in a future worth fighting for. I don’t know how to fight for that future without you. I need you to come back to me.”

He took a shaky breath, feeling the weight of his fear crashing down on him. “Nila needs you too. She’s so young, and she doesn’t understand why her mommy isn’t there. I don’t want to have to explain to her that her mother is gone. I don’t want her to grow up without you. You’re the best mother, the best partner, and I can’t do this alone.”

Rudransh looked around the room, as if searching for an answer in the sterile white walls, the medical equipment, the soft hum of the machines. “You taught me how to love without fear. You showed me the beauty in vulnerability. I don’t know how to be strong without you. I don’t know how to navigate this world without your light guiding me.”

He leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a desperate whisper. “Mihitha, please… I’m begging you. Come back to me. Come back to our family. You can’t leave us like this. We have so much left to do, so many dreams to fulfill. I want to see you laugh again, to hear your voice, to feel your arms around me. I can’t live in a world where that doesn’t exist.”

The tears continued to flow, each one a testament to his love, his heartache, his fears. “You made me a better man, Mihitha. You believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. I don’t want to lose that. I don’t want to lose you.” He pressed his lips against her hand, feeling the coolness of her skin against his warm mouth. “If you can hear me, please… please fight. Fight for us, for our love, for our little girl.”

Rudransh’s voice cracked as he spoke, raw and filled with anguish. “I need you, Mihitha. I can’t imagine my life without you. I want to grow old with you, to look back on our lives together and know that we faced every challenge side by side. I want to create more memories, to take more trips, to enjoy more laughter. You are my heart. You are my soul.”

He let out a shuddering breath, feeling utterly broken. “I’m so afraid of what tomorrow will bring. I can’t lose you. You’re the reason I wake up every day. You’re the reason I fight for our family. Without you, I’m lost.”

Rudransh sat in silence, clutching her hand tightly as if by sheer will he could pull her back from the brink. The tears continued to fall, soaking her hand as he poured his heart out, letting the weight of his feelings spill into the room.

“Remember our wedding day? The way you looked in that beautiful dress, your smile lighting up the entire room? I couldn’t believe I was lucky enough to call you mine. You are the most beautiful person I’ve ever known, inside and out. You deserve to live, to thrive, to love and be loved.”

He wiped his tears with the back of his hand, his heart racing at the thought of her never waking up again. “You have to fight for that beautiful life we’ve dreamed of. You promised to never leave my side, and I need you to keep that promise. I can’t face the world alone, Mihitha. I’m begging you. Fight for me. Fight for our little girl.”

Rudransh leaned in closer, feeling the warmth of her hand beneath his. “I know you’re in there. I know you can hear me. Please, don’t give up. Come back to me. Come back to our family. We can’t do this without you. I can’t do this without you.”

He squeezed her hand tighter, hoping to transfer his strength to her. “I will do anything to see you awake again. I will give up everything if it means I can have you back. I love you so much, Mihitha. Please come back to me. I’m begging you.”

As he sat there, holding her hand, he poured out his heart, praying that somehow, someway, she could hear him. He talked about their dreams, their plans, their love, hoping that each word would reach her, pulling her back from the darkness.

“I love you,” he whispered again, his voice cracking. “I love you, Mihitha. I need you. Come back to me. I can’t do this alone.”

The room fell silent once more, save for the rhythmic beeping of the machines. But within that silence, there was a flicker of hope a flicker that, despite everything, Mihitha would find her way back to him, to their family, to the life they had built together. And as he held her hand, he vowed to stay by her side, to fight alongside her until she woke up, until she returned to him.
