AUTHOR's POV

"What you want" she snapped back coldly
His heart ached at the coldness in her tone, a deep sense of sorrow engulfing him. He swallowed hard, gathering the courage to respond. "I've missed you," he said softly, his voice tinged with a raw vulnerability. "I miss the way we were, the connection we shared. I miss your laughter, your smile, every moment of joy I found in your presence. I miss the simplicity, the warmth of our bond."
She chuckles darkly at his words as she put back the bottle on the kitchen tab

" aren't you satisfied with your twisted games yet?"she asked coldly

His heart sank at her dark chuckle, the weight of his past actions tugging at his conscience. He took a deep breath, summoning the courage to address the pain he had unwittingly caused.

"I realise now the pain I inflicted upon you, the manipulation and deceit that led to heartache. But please, allow me the chance to make amends, to truly comprehend the depth of your hurt and work towards redemption."
The silence between them deepened as she held her ground, her face a mask of calm indifference. Despite her exterior appearance, Rudransh's astute observations allowed him to perceive the inner turmoil that lurked beneath. He discerned the subtle signs of strain and hurt that flickered in her eyes, a glimmer of vulnerability that betrayed the façade of composure. Sensing her internal battle, he held his silence, allowing her unspoken emotions to unfold without interruption. His heart ached, yearning to bridge the gap, but he held back, giving her the space to speak when ready.

" you consider me a fool to trust you again with your new drama?she crossed her arms as she looks at him

His gaze met hers, filled with a mix of remorse and genuine introspection.

"No," he spoke with a softened tone, his words tinged with sincerity.

"I don't see you as a fool.I acknowledge the hurt I have caused, and I understand the depth of your pain. It is not my intention to create further drama or inflict pain. My hope lies in the possibility of redemption, forgiveness, and growth together."

Mihitha laughed bitterly in front of his apologising gaze.
His heart clenched as he witnessed her bitter laughter, the sound carrying an edge of sadness and pain. The realisation that his mere presence stirred such a deep and painful reaction within her tore at his soul. It was a stark reminder of the damage his actions had wrought, and the weight of reconciliation weighed heavily upon him.

"I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused you,"
His voice carried a hint of desperation.

"I want to make things right between us. Please, give me the chance to prove my sincerity and commitment to building a healthier relationship.for you and our baby"

"Our baby? What, our? Noo I told you this baby is mine. Not your's. I don't care if you die or live. I wouldn't give my baby to you"she says with her cold voice. Her eyes didn't betray her this time. Her honey brown eyes held the motherly urge in her.

"A chance? Aren't you ashamed to ask for a chance?" Her voice held a mockering hint

Guilt washed over him, his voice tinged with a touch of regret as he acknowledged the weight of his mistakes.

"You're right,"
he conceded, his tone laden with genuine remorse.

"I should be ashamed to ask for another chance. But the thought of losing you, the connection we shared, it's unbearable. I understand that words alone cannot mend the pain I have caused, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to rebuild trust and prove my commitment."

"For you, for our baby please gave me a chance to mend our broken home "
A tight slap landed on his cheek from her
A sharp gasp escaped his lips as the stinging pain of her slap resonated across his face. The unexpected outburst caught him off guard, the physical manifestation of her anger leaving him momentarily disoriented. Confusion clouded his thoughts as he met her gaze, the depth of her rage leaving him momentarily speechless.

"Don't, don't take the baby's name. You moron..."The intensity of her anger coursed through the room, his heart racing with a mixture of fear and shock. The rawness of her emotions was palpable, a potent reminder of the depths of her hurt. He struggled to find the right words to defuse the situation, his mind racing to navigate the delicate balance of understanding and de-escalation. He stood there, acutely aware of the fragility of the moment, and spoke with a tinge of vulnerability.

"Please, it's our baby, mihitha....your's and mine...it's ours"his voice tinged with vulnerability

"No It's mine..."she yelled at him

His heart raced as he took the risk of stepping closer to her, a flicker of hope igniting within him. The air seemed charged with a blend of anticipation and trepidation, the weight of the situation hanging in the balance.

"Please, let's talk. I want us. I want you and our baby..."he repeated, his voice filled with a mix of vulnerability and determination. He held her gaze, silently pleading for an opportunity to bridge the divide that had been forged through misunderstandings and hurt feelings.she took a step back from him
The movement of her stepping away felt like a punch to his gut, his heart sinking at her retreat. His desperate urge to salvage the situation clashed with her guarded instincts, the delicate balance of progress wavering in the wake of her guardedness. The tension in the air was palpable as Rudransh carefully ventured another step closer to Mihitha. His heart raced with a mix of anticipation and apprehension, unsure of how she would react to his advance. He swallowed hard, trying to maintain his composure in the face of uncertainty.

"Please," he pleaded earnestly, his voice tinged with a hint of urgency

"Just give me a chance ."

The emotional rollercoaster that unfolded in the wake of his actions left him grappling with a swirl of remorse and hope. As he took another step closer, a mix of desperation and sincerity welled up within him. The fear of losing her forever spurred him forward, his voice cracking with a blend of vulnerability and determination.

"Please,"

he repeated, his words echoing with a newfound intensity,

"Please, just give me one more chance to make things right."

Another slap landed on his cheek from her
Once again, he found himself speechless, the weight of her frustration and resentment permeating the air. He struggled to find the right words, the pain of the encounter seeping into his bones. Yet, he gathered the courage to speak softly, his voice tinged with both sadness and understanding:

"I realize I don't deserve mercy..."

The confession hung heavily in the air, acknowledging the truth of his words and the weight of his actions. The silence that followed felt like an eternity as he allowed the weight of his own words to linger in the air. The intensity of the moment felt suffocating, the unspoken sentiments between them echoing with a profound depth. He braced himself, uncertain of her response, his heart pounding in a mixture of anticipation and trepidation. With a determined look in his eyes he stepped closer again.

"I know I may have made a big mistakes in the past, and I'm deeply remorseful for that. But I want to make things right, to rebuild our relationship."

Each step he took closer to her felt like a leap of faith, his voice imbued with a mix of sincerity and vulnerability.

" I'm willing to make the necessary changes to be a better partner to you. I understand that trust takes time to rebuild, but I'm committed to doing whatever it takes to prove my remorse and my determination to prioritise you and our baby. Please, give me the chance to show you how much I've grown and changed."
