Her Pov

*ring ring ring ring* Yay, it's Monday! Not. Whatever, it's just another day at school. Again, not. I hate Mondays but I hate this one in particular. Jake dumped me on Friday and today is just going to be a pity party for me, great. Now look at me, it's 7:05 AM and I'm already using sarcasm. I haven't even had my coffee yet! Well there's no point in delaying it. I thought as I dragged myself out of bed. "Wake up Al you're going to miss the bus!" my mom yelled up the stairs acting as if Jake hadn't dumped me on Friday. Of course being the awesome mom she is she just let me mope all weekend but not anymore. I walked over to my closet. Hmm... what to wear? I guess a sweater works. As I pulled on my leggings I turned on my music. Demi Levato's Give Your Heart a Break started to play. Well that's a great song to start the day to.

As I headed down stairs I heard my little brother running around the kitchen. "Mom! Why is Josh running around the kitchen in his underwear with the chocolate sauce!?" I yelled down the hallway. She popped her head out of the doorway, "I don't know just make sure he's not late for school." This is what I get for being the older sister. "Josh, go to your room and get dressed." I said calmly. "No! You're not the boss of me!" he screamed at me. Ugh, eight year olds. "Fine, be late for school. I'm not the one who always wants to open the door for Chelsea." I looked at him as he ran down to his room while yelling over his shoulder, "You win this time!" I smiled as I grabbed my coffee and ran out the door running smack into one of my best friends Haley.

"Ow! What was that for Haley?" I asked as I rubbed my head. "Are you okay? I heard about you and Jake and I'm so sorry! I thought you guys were so-" I cut her off with an icy stare. "Don't even. I'm not in the mood for a pity fest." We headed off for the bus stop. Just as we walked up the bus came. "Good morning Bob!" Haley and I said in unison. "Good morning girls." He said smiling. "Hey Sunshine and Raincloud" Robert called out from the back. "Ha ha clever nick names Robert." Haley yelled back. I tryed not to smiled to myself, Robert Holbrook, our other best friend. He's one of the funniest guys I know. I sat down next to Haley in our usual seat as the bus lurched forward.

As the bus pulled up in front of school I started to get nervous, very nervous. Many what if situations started to fly through my mind. Stop it Alice. You are a very strong woman and can make it through one week. After I got off the bus and parted ways with Haley I headed to my locker. "Hey Alice!" my friend Sam shouted as I got to my locker. "Hi Sam." I started to open my locker when I remembered that I had a math test, fun. I grabbed my stuff for my first three classes and started to head to class.

"Alright if everyone would quickly take their seats we can get started on the test." Mr. Helm told the class. I liked Mr. Helm but I really didn't like math. As the tests were being handed out Isabel shot me a sad look. Oh well, I guess it can't be avoided. I had to face it; I was going to be reminded of Friday all day today. I looked at my test paper, god I really hate calculus.

"Well that was fun." Isabel joked as we left the class room. I walked with her up to her science class. "See you later!" she called as I walked away. The next two periods passes really quickly, they were my best subjects, band and science. I was dreading fourth period. I had health class with Jake. When I entered the trailer all conversation stopped and everyone stared at me. I felt tears well up in my eyes as my face turned red. I had just sat down in my usual seat when Haley called me up to come sit with her. Sighing I grabbed my stuff and moved up next to her but closer to him.
