Chapter 7

Her Pov

Yes last period of the day! Art, my favorite class. Mrs. Ross is just so nice. I really like how she lets us listen to music while we draw or paint or whatever. I smiled as I grabbed my IPod out of my pencil case. I unwrapped my headphones, put them in, and pressed play. Wonderwall by Oasis stared to play. Of course it's the last song I was listening to, with Jake. It's our song and we were listening to it as we hung out at the park two blocks away from my house. We were dancing in slow circles. Whatever, I have to let all of these feelings go. Why does everything relate back to him? The next song started to play as I got out my sketch book and my drawing pencils.

"What to sketch? Or draw?" I muttered to myself. I started to tap my pencil on the sketch book. I looked up at the clock. 1:55 pm. I had 25 more minutes until class ended. I grabbed my phone and started to send a text to Robert.

HELP ME!!!! i have no idea what to draw!!!!

do what you always do. draw Jake.

u r NOT helpful. at all.

I sighed as I scrolled through my contacts.

To: Haley is my best friend forever and ever

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DRAW AND ROBERT ISNT BEING HELPFUL ALL HE SAID WAS TO "do what I always do and draw Jake." WHY CANT I THINK OF ANYTHINGGGG!!!

From: Ally Pie

I waited for her reply. 2:05, class ends in 15 minutes and we always have to show Mrs. Ross what we did during class. Ugh, what to draw?

To: Ally Pie

Draw a picture of me, draw a picture of Robert, draw a picture of something in the room, I don't know!!! I'm not creative!!!!

From: Haley is my best friend forever and ever

Of course Haley would text with proper grmmar. Well that was helpful. Okay something in the room. I looked around, then I grabbed my phone and started to scroll through my pictures. I found a picture of the New York skyline I took last spring break with the fam. I sighed.

"It'll have to do." I grabbed my pencil and started to sketch. Halfway through the rough sketch I heard my phone buzz.

"Ugh, who's texting me now?" I muttered to myself.

To: Ally W.

IM HAVING A PARTY AT MY HOUSE THIS WEEK END AND U AND UR WHOLE GROUP OF FREIDNS HAVE TO COME!!!!!!! ;D TELL ANYONE THATS A JUNIOUR OR SENIOR!!!!!! SEE U THERE!!!!!!!! :)

From: Payton the queen (not)

I quickly forwarded the text to all of my senior and junior friends. Ding ding! WHAT? I only finished half of my drawing!!!! I quickly grabbed my stuff, showed Mrs. Ross my unfinished drawing, and got out the door to my locker. Haley was already there.

"ALICE WE GOT INVITED TO A PARTY!" She yelled as soon as I came in to view.

"I KNOW!" I yelled back with a smile creeping up on my face.

"WE GET TO PAR-TAY!" I heard Robert yell from somewhere behind me.

"NOT UNTIL FRIDAY." Someone yelled back. Right, it's only Monday.
