His Pov
When Alice walked into the trailer all conversation stopped. How awkward for her. I know that she hates being the sole center of attention. I stopped staring as she sat down. But, of course, Haley had to get Al to sit with her. As she moved up you could feel the tension in the room. Everyone was staring at us. As soon as she sat down Mr. Collins started to explain the health project. I had to look anywhere but at her. Out of the corner of my eye I saw her grab her aqua folder. It was her drawing folder that was all I knew. She never let me look at the actual drawings. She was too embarrassed by them. As she started to draw I looked up at the board and tried to listen to Mr. Collins.
When he was done explaining the project he let us go so we could go inside to the computer lab, too bad he forgot that the doors were locked. As the class stood out there freezing I was tempted to wrap my arms around Alice just like I used to. Can’t do that you dumped her remember? Ugh, right that. After roughly six minutes Mr. A walked by and opened the door for us. Thank god. So when we entered the computer lab I tried to pick a seat as far from Al as possible. Well that didn’t happen. The M’s, Mary and Mischa, had already sat down and Alice, being their partner had to sit next to them.
After health I was heading to lunch when a familiar voice told me to wait up. I stopped and slowly turned around. Matt Book. It was his fault that I had to dump Alice, him and his stupid dare. “What do you want?” I asked coldly. “Well I was wondering if you could tell me things that Alice likes.” He shot back. “Why would I tell you that?” I said as I kept walking. Matt moved to my side now. “So I can have a better shot at dating her.” I stopped and glared at him. “That’s not going to happen.” “Who says it won’t?” He smiled. I started to walk forward as he darted his foot out in front of my leg. The next thing I knew I had face planted into the floor and there was something wet and sticky covering my nose.
