Chapter 4

His Pov

          Alice hates me. I knew she would. That look she gave me when I slid her folder over to her. Well that’s what I get for going along with that stupid dare. Really I’m sure the guys would have come up with a good punishment for me if I hadn’t dumped her. And the whole dare was just so Matt could get closer to her while she’s hurting! Why am I so stupid?! I can’t believe he even tried to speak to me let alone give me a bloody nose! Why did she help me anyway? It’s only been two days since the break up. Does she still have feelings for me? Wait, of course she does, the break up was only two days ago. I can be really stupid sometimes.

*20 minutes earlier*

“What happened?” the nurse asked after Al had left.

“Uh, I fell.” Sure I didn’t like Matt but that didn’t mean that I was going to rat him out. Who knows what else he would do?

“Yeah, sure.” The nurse said as she handed me a couple tissues.

“I’m gonna be at my desk just call me if you need anything.” She looked at me but I was already pinching my nose and holding my head forward so I couldn’t see her. I heard her leave the room and soon after I found myself looking for my stuff. I found my pile of binders and I saw a folder peeking out from underneath. Oh no, not that. I thought to myself. It was Al’s drawing folder. I knew I shouldn’t look but curiosity won over. I opened it up and tried very carefully to not get blood on the drawings. Al would kill me if I did.
