Austin and Ally World Tour ~ Raura

Chapter 10

|THAT EVENING - FRIDAY 4TH APRIL 2024|

"You ready for this?" he asks her as they stand backstage with his band before opening night of the tour.

"I think so" she says sending him a soft smile. He holds her hand in his and rubs his thumb of her knuckles reassuringly.

"You're going to be amazing, they love you" he says and embraces her in a hug.
It's weird they haven't been so close over the last few months but things have been going back to normal for them. Less flirty but their friendship has been back.

They let go and huddle up with the rest of the band and do their pre show ritual.

"Ah ready set rock!" They all scream before running out on stage.

They have chosen to do most songs from Austin and Ally alternating between Ross and Laura solo songs and then some nights Ross might sing I Think About You and other nights he might do Stuck On You. The show opening is 'Can You Feel It'' and the show closes with the theme song duet version for them both to do.

Tonight Ross is singing I Think About You.

"We're going to slow it down for this one, and bring it forward to season 2 of Austin and Ally, when Austin and Ally try to date and first became an official couple. This is I Think About You" he smiles as he hears the audience screaming. As he starts strumming the first few chords Laura comes out on stage as they want to recreate him serenading her.

She sits on the stool as he sings the song to her. It's just Ross and Laura on stage.

'I think about you every moment, everyday of my life, your on my mind all the time it's true, I think about you you you, I think about youuuu oh oh"

Ross sings as he finishes strumming. He stares into Laura's eyes. When they originally filmed this he asked Laura out after in his dressing room and she friend zoned him.

He's having flashbacks to that moment.

"Ross I, I" Laura says recreating the scene from the show.

"Just come here" Ross says opening his arms for her. She leans forward and wraps her arms around his torso as his wrap around her shoulders. The audience cheers and scream loudly for them.

Laura walks off as the band joins Ross for 'That Rock N Roll'.

"That's was incredible! Awesome show guys" Laura says as they enter the tour bus.

"Yeah it was. Damn I forgot how fun those songs were to perform" Ross smiles.

"Laura!" Rydel squeals hugging her best friend. Ross rolls his eyes walking away leaving them to it. Rydel, Capron, Stormie, Mark and the kids joined for the first show.

"Rydel!" Laura squeals equally as loud.

"You were amazing girl! It's been ages since I've heard you singing. God and your harmonies with Ross! Sounds great now, wish Disney never put autotune on them back in the day! But it sounds incredibly with your mature voices now! Damn girl" Rydel laughs.

"Haha thanks Del, it was great performing all those songs again, felt like I went straight back into Ally mode, it was nice, I've missed her" Laura says chuckling at her joke.
