Chapter 21

He did it. He ended his relationship with Indie yesterday. Yes he did it on face time but Indie felt it coming. But surely he can't go straight to Laura can he? He's on stage now and he can't stop thinking about both of them.  "Hey I will always stay by your side forever because we're better together" He sings and can't help but look over to Laura who is watching him off stage. He can't help but look at her in nearly every song tonight. Ross shakes his head trying to regain focus and back into Austin Moon mode. Next is Steal Your Heart. Great. 

'No matter what you do, I'm gonna steal your heart' Ross sings into the microphone finishing the song as he glances to Laura standing at the side of the stage as he smirks to her. She rolls her eyes at his innocent flirting. She hates it, he keeps flirting with her even though he still with Indie.  She thought or hoped maybe their conversation changed something  maybe he would break up with her. That was stupid though especially when she was telling him not too. Maybe she needs to just go with the flow instead of having hope and see what happens. 

"I'm gonna steal your heart" Ross sings in her ear as she walks onto stage. She rolls her eyes at him and slaps his chest lightly.  

"I broke up with Indie" He whispers in her ear as they share a quick hug. She pulls away from him looking at him shocked but doesn't have too much time to react as she now has to sing Parachute. She is now the one constantly glancing over to him when she sings. They have no reason to not be together now. Well many reasons like last time but nobody standing in their way. Somehow she manages to finish the rest of the song without being too distracted by him. 

"If you want a friend, doesn't matter when (doesn't matter when)
Anything you need, that's what I'll beYou can come to me
You can come to me, yeah" Laura sings only, her and Ross haven't taken their eyes of each other the entire song. 

"Fuck it" Ross mumbles before leaning in to peck her lips, it's a quick peck as he remembers they're on stage. The crowd however are going insane. The band stare at the pair shocked glancing to each other with smirks on their faces. No one apart from Laura knows he broke up with Indie so they are probably very confused.  

Ross pulls her in for a tight hug as the crowd carries on screaming.                   

"I really really like you Laur, wanna just go with the flow and see what happens?" He whispers in her as he kisses her cheek. She nods. Before standing on her tiptoes and leaning up to his ear. 

"I really really like you too Ross Shor" Ross smiles widely at her confession. They pull away from each other he intertwines his hand with hers. 

"Give it up for Laura Marano!!!!" He yells into the microphone as he raises their hands in the air.  Laura laughs and bows. Ross winks at her and she runs off stage letting them do their last song before joining them again for the last song which is the theme song.  

"Ross did you just cheat on Indie in front of everyone???" Ryland exclaims as they come off stage.

"I broke up with her last night idiot" Ross says rolling his eyes at Ryland's accusation. 

"Oh what are you guys?" Ryland questions looking between Laura and Ross who are holding hands. Laura is leaning her head on his chest. 

"Um best friends" Ross says with a chuckle. 

"Yeah he's my best friend" Laura replies smirking. She leans up and pecks his cheek. 

"Sure" Rocky says in amusement.  

"So you guys didn't just become a couple on stage in front of everyone?" Ellington asks rolling his eyes at the pair. 

"Nah of course not, we would never" Ross chuckles patting Ellington's back. 

"What the fuck is going on??" Riker asks just as confused as everyone else. 

"These two clearly became are couple and are trying to fuck around with us by thinking were stupid and don't know exactly what happened, they probably just haven't labelled it because they don't do that but they're together" Ryland explains. 

"DUDE!! Our past really?" Ross questions rolling his eyes at his younger brother. 

"Ross" Laura says as she rubs his back with her hand. 

"Aw Ross" Rocky says imitating her. Laura rolls her eyes at him and slaps his arm lightly. 

"Enough of this let's go out! Although these two probably wanna go make out" Ryland says laughing. 

"Nah we'll go out, we're not a couple so we wouldn't want to do that, ew" Ross says sticking his tongue out. 

"Yeah it's disgusting kissing you Ross" Laura says laughing along.  

"Sure, you didn't think that early" Ross says with a smirk as Laura hits his chest playful. 

"Shut up" She says blushing. Ross just wraps an arm around her waist and kiss her temple. 

"AW Raura" Rocky cheers as he takes a picture of them before putting his phone away. 

"The happy couple" Ellington says with a laugh.  

"We're not a couple, are we Ross" Laura asks glancing up at him. 

"Nope not a couple" He replies with a smirk as he pecks her lips. He loves that he can kiss her whenever now and he loves that she blushes every time.
