It's been five hours . Everyone is here . Including her mom which has been nicer than anyone else. I see a nurse walk up . Blood stains on her uniform. "How is she" I ask with neediness . She looks around. Her mom approaches the nurse . "She lost a lot of blood..the wound was near a centimeter above her heart..the surgery went well.." I let out of breath. "But..due to the sport she plays ..and the way the bullet penetrated her heart it's very likely it can affect her ability to function the way she use to"

I arch my eyebrows . "What does that mean" her mom ask. "She may never play basketball again" her team looks at me . Azzi starts crying. Then everyone starts balling . Three hours go by and everyone sees her . I sit in my seat as I get up to the bathroom. I wash my hands getting the blood off me . I ruined her life . I walk out and her mom approaches me. "She's asking for you" my heart starts racing . I walk and knock on her door. "Come in" her voice raspy .

I walk in her face flushed and drained from color . "Hey" is all I got out. I sit next to her bed . She looks up and her eyes start to water . "Bella I don't think I want you to be my girlfriend anymore" the sentence hitting my stomach. My throat began to hurt from the knot forming . "Okay" I say almost as a choke . I get up to leave as she grabs my hand. "I think I should go you need your space and I want to respect your decision" I say struggling to find words .

"Can you listen to my reasons" I turn and her eyes focused on my face . How could I not love you . You have bright meaning into my life you have made the sunsets worth missing as long as I knew my night were with you . You made basketball a work of art and whole life is ruined because of me. Her blue eyes captured my every thought.

"Yes..." she opens the small box revealing and ring with black diamonds around a huge white one . She slips it on my finger. It's perfect. We're perfect . No matter the risk.
