She parks on my street and she looks around . I see her tense up looking at the area . "Hey cmon we have no time to waste" I tell her and she slowly gets out the car and fallows me inside my house. I take her hand to rush her inside more. "Jen get Marcos". I walk into the kitchen and my dad has a glass sitting at the table .
He looks at my hand that hold Paige's . I let go immediately. "Sapphire huh?" He looks at me . No way he knows . "Dad I can explain." He stand and I push Paige behind me . Our height shows difference. My heart starts pounding in my chest . "Go on" he says leaning on the table . "She showed up I didn't know she was even there ..and she said something about grams and I just snapped" I say sounding weak. Shit.
He walks around and stands infront me . "I'm Bella's father" he extend his hand and Paige takes it . "Paige bueckers sir" she leaves a firm grip before letting go. "She was seen with you?" I nod . I wait for the smack . But it never came . "So you're telling me ...you hurt her but didn't finish the job" he says more soundin like a statement.
Marco walks in along with Jen and Jason . They smile as they see Paige . "Your sister ...provoked the snakes daughter" there smiles leaves there faces as I look at my feet. Then smack.my face whips to my left and I feel her hands push me into her . My dad looks at her . Oh no. "She didn't mean to do it she started this whole mess your daughter stood up for herself" she says high toned.
She doesn't know what we are . Who I am . Who she's talking to. I look at her and she caress my face "you okay?" She say lowly . I nod. This is different. No one ever talks like to my dad and lives for that matter. He huff out . "You have a smart one" he stares at her . He won't let that go. "She didn't mean to dad" I said defensively. His eyes direct to me. "Un dia con Ella y ya te pones brava" I gulp. (One day with her and now you're all brave) .
"What do we do now?" . We hear cars screeching out our house. Fuck. I pull Paige upstairs into my room. "Hey I need you to stay in the bathroom lay in the tub and please I'm begging you don't move I will be back for you I swear . She nods . I turn to leave and she pulls me into and our lips crash on each other. I pull away . "I promise I'll back for you" I tell her and she gose into the bathroom. "There are headphones and please turn your music on and blast it please...just listen to me I know one of this makes sense and I'll explain after" I say . I curse multiple times under my breathe . Fuck This whole life thing .
