I smiled faintly and continued to ask, "Are you a necromancer?"

He tilted his head and looked at me, his voice somewhat heavy, "People say I'm a dangerous villain, that I'm a dark necromancer, but I've never done anything evil. I only use magic when others try to attack me, and after some got hurt, they just hated me even more."

I gazed at him with a touch of sympathy. "Don't worry. As long as we're here, no one will harm you again."

I looked up at the five people sitting quietly to the side, smiled at them, and introduced them to Aye

I looked up at the five people sitting quietly to the side, smiled at them, and introduced them to Aye. "Little Aye, look here." I gently turned his head towards the group and pointed at them. "They are all formidable individuals; they can protect you well."

I signaled to them with my eyes, "Isn't that right?" I asked.

Aye's face lit up with an innocent smile, and he addressed them warmly, "My name is Aye. It's nice to meet you all."

Perhaps it was Aye's pure smile; they began to relax, their expressions softening, and responded with gentle smiles of their own. "Aye, you will be safe with our mercenary group."

Aye nodded. "I know, as long as Sasha is here, nothing will happen to me."

I rubbed Aye's adorable little face and said, "Little Aye, let me teach you the ways of dark magic."

Aye exclaimed in surprise, "Sasha, are you also a dark mage?" He frowned, "But I don't sense any dark magic aura from you!"

"I meant that I would guide you in using magic properly," I said, taking out a beginner's dark magic book from my storage ring and handing it to him. "After this, you'll need to learn magic on your own. Dark magic isn't my forte, but I'll help you understand its principles. You must first master its proper application, and I will guide you along the way."

Aye hugged me tightly, "Thank you, Sasha. I will master dark magic, and then I'll protect you."

Feeling gratified, I smiled. Glancing at the sky, it was nearly dawn; it seemed time to pick the Xianwei fruit.
