Out of nowhere, a tall masculine figure appeared in front of Liz. Liz took a step back and muttered to herself, “Wow!”
He was a legit angel indeed. He was light-skinned with a messy afro curled black hair, small dark eyes, a narrow nose, baby ears, and a sexy pink lip. He had bushy eyebrows with long eyelashes which like…like…the imagination of him in your head could give someone a heart attack. He was mwah!
“Ou…la…laaaa. My sweet three-layered vanilla ice cream with Hersey chocolate toppings, colourful sprinkles, syrup with a sexy cherry on top.” Liz thought admiring him.
“Oh, Lester! Just in time to welcome our new angel.” Mrs. Cheryl said placing a hand on Lester’s back.
“Welcome once again,” Lester said greeting Liz’s parents.
“And you are?” Lester asked looking at Liz.
“Your baby girl,” Liz replied boldly.
“LIZ!” Mr. Lance exclaimed.
“Oh, don’t worry…I’m cool with it.” Lester said laughing at her comment.
Mrs. Cheryl instructed Lester to show Liz around the school.
“Sure, will do,” Lester spoke politely.
“Please follow me,” Lester said to Liz as they excused themselves.
Mrs. Cheryl with Mr. and Mrs. Vendawill went to the office to discuss a thing or two.
“Show me around pretty face.” Liz flirted winking at him.
Lester chuckled.
“She is definitely trouble.” Lester thought to himself.
“All I see is his glorious beauty and pretty mysterious eyes hiding a dark secret from everyone.” Liz thought as she wondered what Lester was hiding.
Lester was a lively, free-spoken, ambitious and willing guy. Everyone respected him. He was well-known to be the best swimmer in the entire school. They all called him the perfect guy. And so he was. But underneath the perfect lie laid a dark secret.
Lester showed Liz around campus.
“This place is huge!” Liz thought to herself.
“It’s going to be so much fun.” Liz thought.
While showing Liz around, Liz got annoyed with Lester as he used please in every sentence.
“Am I your grandmother?” Liz asked out of the blue.
“Pardon?” Lester asked confused.
“Wait, are you deaf?  ... just answer the damn question,” Liz said rudely.
“Calm down you can handle her. Just be careful with her. She is dead trouble.” Lester reasoned.
To annoy her more, he responded, “Please no and secondly please watch how you talk to your seniors. It will do you some good.”
“You…” he cut her short and said, “Well, that’s the end of your tour. Enjoy your stay.” He concluded as he walked elegantly away.
“Did he just walk out on me especially when I wasn't done talking? Who the hell does he think he is?” Liz retorted. A devilish grin emerged on her face and that only meant one thing.
#Prank war.
Liz was later assisted by Zenday, a beautiful young lady. She was the captain of the ladies’ football team. Zenday had an athletic figure which suited her well.
Zenday was the outgoing type. Everyone loved her. Liz felt her sweet, pure nature and instantly liked her vibe.
“She’s not that bad. I guess.” Liz concluded.
They took the elevator to the 5th floor.
“We are here. Your room is R206. Here is your card.” Zenday said handing the card over to Liz.
“Thanks…love the Marcus Rashford shirt you are wearing. He is my favourite.” Liz said smiling.
“Oh really? Same here. He is my fav.” Zenday smiled.
“Think I’m gonna love this place just by your beautiful smile.”
“Well, I must say. We may be rebellious, but we stay true to what we believe in.”
“Love that vibe.”
“Well, I’m off to practice. See you later.” Zenday said waving at Liz.
“They ain’t that bad after all.” Liz thought as she passed the card through the slot. The door opened.
She entered.
“Welcome!” Jodie shouted startling Liz.
“Oh my freaking gosh! You scared the crap out of me.” Liz said placing her hand on her chest.
“Well, I was instructed to welcome my favourite roommate,” Jodie said sarcastically.
“You just met me b.”
“I was instructed to do that. To make you feel welcome. I don’t want to get punished a third time. I’ve had enough of their nonsense.” Jodie said as she lazily climbed onto her bed.
“What the fuck girl,” Liz said confused.
“Fuck you.” Jodie lashed out.
“Excuse me! Did you just…”
Interrupting Liz, Jodie said, “Hey girl...don’t come and lecture me. You don’t have that right to even speak to me. I would have welcomed you in my own style but I don’t know who the fuck you are or what makes you special that they even double cleaned the room. I just followed their boring instructions. And don’t even think of having any roomy vibes with me. You won’t last long with me either.
“Oh I see what’s happening, we have a lot in common… Interesting. This would be so much fun. But a word of caution. I’m way worse than you. I’m just full of surprises so be careful. I may be sweet now but one mistake from your end will be the end of you.” Liz narrated as she unpacked her stuff.
“By the way baby girl, I’m your first and last roommate!” Liz said as she turned round to face Jodie. But to her surprise, Jodie was fast asleep.
“Did I just say all that for nothing?” Liz asked astonished by Jodie’s behaviour.
Jodie opened her eyes slightly and said, “They may be closed but I sense and see everything. I’m deadly my love.” In a terrifying tone.
Liz smiled and said, “I’m really going to enjoy myself.”
Lis finished unpacking and took a nap.
11 PM (LATE AT NIGHT).
Liz woke up, got dressed in a black flare dress and tiptoed her way out of the room.
“Ahh…time to have some fun.” Liz pondered as she sneaked out of the school to the beach.
Meanwhile, Lester was patrolling when he noticed Liz sneaking out.
“I should have known. She is up to no good.” Lester said as he picked up his stuff and followed Liz. The beach was a few miles away from the school. Within a few minutes, Liz had arrived at the beach.
“Ahh…the free breeze. I love the beach so much. It’s been a while.” Liz said twirling around.
Liz loved the beach ever since she was a child. She mostly went there with her parents where she made unforgettable memories she cherished.
“Ah…not here…don’t cry,” Liz murmured wiping her hanging tears.
“Forget everything and enjoy the present moment.” She added.
Liz walked around admiring the sparkling beach. Meanwhile, Lester had seen everything that went on.
“Such beauty, yet such sorrow filled in her eyes. Fear engulfs her whole body as though death awaits her. Her bright smile leaves a spark wherever she goes. Yet a rulebreaker she is. Living life as she pleases. Her attitude is on a whole different level. She reminds me of my old self. My old self ruined and changed my life forever. My past haunts me every single day. Will my new leaf be enough to cover up my past?” Lester said lost in thoughts.
He snapped out of his thoughts and continued to watch Liz.
“Why would she even come here knowing very well she might get into trouble,” Lester asked himself. Liz walked along the shore kicking and splashing the water childishly.
“This is so much fun. Time for a swim.” Liz said removing her dress. Lester was watching everything when he was surprised by what he saw.
“What the hell. Why is she undressing herself in this freezing weather and why am I even watching her?” Lester blurted embarrassed by the scene. He turned around to avoid seeing anything further.
“NO! ...don’t turn…don’t turn…don’t look at her.” Lester thought trying to control herself. Like a magnet attracting a pin, Lester turned to watch Liz again.
“Why did you turn?” A thought crossed his mind.
“Fuck off.” He whispered.
“Wow!” Lester exclaimed as his eyes examined every inch of her body in admiration. He was marvelled. Liz had an amazing figure which was exposed slightly in her bikini.
“So, she had all this beneath that dress,” Lester asked astonished.
Lester chuckled and said to himself, “Lester! What are you doing? Don’t let the other side of you take control.”
But as we all know, the other side took control of him.
He was struck by her stunning beauty.
But something unexpected happened.
A dark strange figure appeared behind her and
“BOO!”
“Ahhh!” Liz shouted.
Only to turn around to see Jodie.
“Got you,” Jodie said laughing.
“Wow! You look sexy in the bikini.” Jodie complimented.
“I’m lying. You look terrible…like…like…really…really…terrible…like...”
“Enough already. I almost had a heart attack because of you.” Liz said as though her heart popped out of her chest.
“Anyways, you came just in time for the fun part,” Liz said.
“I like where this is going.”
“Of course. I knew you would follow me.” Liz said winking at her.
“I’m beginning to like your vibe,” Jodie replied.
“Thank Heavens that it’s Jodie.” Lester thought relaxing himself.
“I’m going for a swim. Wanna join?” Liz asked.
“Hell yeah” Jodie replied as she removed her dress revealing her bikini underneath.
The girls dived into the sea, splashing water against themselves and having fun. Lester got distracted by a call.
“Yeah…I’m coming.” Lester said as he ended the call. Just when he was about to confront the girls, a strong wave clashed against them engulfing everything within it including Liz and Jodie.
“Liz!” Lester shouted as he ran out of the bush and jumped into the sea.
“Help! Help! Help!” Liz shouted as she struggled to balance herself among the waves.
Jodie regained herself and swam to the shore coughing.
“Liz! Where is she?” Jodie shouted looking around.
Lester in his clothes, swam against the strong waves to rescue Liz.
“Hold my hands.” Lester shouted.
“Where? I can’t see.” Liz said trying to reach out.
Lester stretched out a bit further and….
“Yes! Got you!” he said as he carried Liz in his arms.
Liz still closing her eyes, placed her hands around his neck.
Lester swam back to the shore with Liz. Liz opened her eyes and was mesmerized by the beauty in front of her. “Wow!” she muttered.
Lester and Liz were lost in each other’s eyes as all they could do was just stare intensely at each other.
“Gosh…she’s beautiful.” Lester thought.
Liz inched closer and closer and closer, then the unexpected happened.
Lester dropped her immediately and said, “Are you sick?”
Liz bum hit the sand pretty hard.
“Ouch! Are you insane?” Liz said rubbing her bum.
“I’m not. You are.” Lester said furiously.
“What if something bad had happened to you? What if you died?”  he lashed out not knowing how it would affect Liz.
“Well then I would be happy if the worst had happened. At least all my troubles and burdens would have gone away. I would have known peace.” Liz said a serious look.
Lester was taken aback by her reaction.
“Why is she taking it so personal?” Lester thought.
“You are in a lot of…” Lester was interrupted by Jodie as she run towards Liz.
“Hey! Are you alright?” Jodie asked concerned.
“Yeah…I’m fine.” Liz responded, clearly upset.
“What did you do now?” Jodie asked turning to Lester.
