John draws out his sword which was his Esper, Kusangi and Cyrus draws out his black dagger.

 Ramza then draws something from his back it was a fold-able scythe which looked like it was made special for him.

 "Look out, Cyrus. That is a EXE weapon. they are giving to high rank people in the DHO who do not have Espers," said John.

 Ramza then slashes his scythe and unleashed a energy wave at them. John flies up and Cyrus ducks down into the shadows to avoid the attack. Ramza saw that all the workers have escaped. John goes in for a slash but Ramza blocks the attack.

 "I have to say I am impressed Captain Ripply, youngest to ever become a DHO Captain. It usually take five years to get even get to that level and you done it in one," said Ramza. "It must be nice to have that rich family linage."

 "You really hate the rich for some reason," said John.

 "It something you would never understand. You never had to grow up hungry and wondering if you will live at the end of the week," said Ramza. "I should say who are the real monster? The Demons? No, I think the real monster are the one who benefit of the commoners."

 Ramza parries John off him and pulls out another knife in his left hand and stabs John in the stomach. John coughing blood and staggers back. Cyrus uses his shadow magic to get John out of the way and he appears behind Cyrus.

 "Damn it, I got careless," said John.

 "You did, you should be trained to prepared for anything," said Ramza. "Your weakness is your lack of battle experience."

 Ramza approaches them with his scythe up ready to finish them off. He swings but before he lands an attack on Cyrus who was protecting John. Rize appears and blocks it with Excalibur. Rize's clothes were bit torn from fighting all the blob dragons.

 "Sorry, I was late," said Rize.

 "Huh? A regular guard," said Ramza.

 "Rize? How you find us?" asked Cyrus.

 "I felt some strong presences over here and was just John and this guy fighting," said Rize.

 "Sensing?" questioned Cyrus.

 "And you, what the hell you done to you're men they trusted you," said Rize.

 "Ah, so you meet the defects. They still living are they not," said Ramza with a smile. "Plus, I think they more powerful then before."

 "I don't care about that bull shit. My grandfather only wanted to help people who can not fight against demons or those who wanted to harm the innocent," said Rize.

 Rize stopped him from saying another word by slamming his left hand into his face.

 Ramza jumps back after being struck and rubs the are he got punched with his left hand.

 "I think you can take care of him, Rize?" asked John.

 "Leave it to me, Captain. This bastard, I am going to make you pay for what he done to his men and the people who lived here," said Rize.

 "Cyrus, let's head back," said John.

 "Yes, sir," said Cyrus.

 Cyrus helps John and they head back as Rize stays to fight Ramza.

 Ramza heads in with his scythe and Rize clashes with him after swinging Excalibur. Ramza keeps hacking at him, but Rize keeps on blocking until an opening appears and Rize's slashes back which make Ramza jumps back. They were evenly matched.

 "Damn, if only my powers was not sealed," Rize thinks to himself as he knows if he was not fighting at full strength because of the seal on him by Nightingale.

 "I think it time we stopped playing around," said Ramza.

 "What are you talking about?" questioned Rize.

 Rize watches as Ramza takes out a vial with a needle on it, which was filled with the demon drug.

 "Is that?" questioned Rize.

 "Yes, this is your down fall, prepare your self for death," said Ramza.

 Ramza stabs himself in neck with and injects the demon drug into his body. Rize gets ready as he feels Ramza going to be stronger now. He watches as he sees veins pop out on his face. Ramza rushes Rize at high speed and swing his scythe at him. Rize tries to block it but the force was enough to throw Rize back through the wall which brings him outside into the town.
