"what is love?" (zhang hao)

chapter eight

unknown to her, the guy who was stuck in her mind was also thinking about her too.

"guys i might be going crazy," hao groaned as he plopped himself onto the couch. the other two humans stared at him, confused about what was happening. the two zhang siblings were living with ricky's family, who were friends with their parents. their parents were out of the country for a business trip, leaving mei and hao under the care of ricky's parents.

"what's wrong?" mei asked as she took a seat on a chair, ricky copying her actions.

"i miss them... a lot," he sighed as he covered his eyes with his arm. ricky and mei looked at one another blankly, skeptical that hao missed the han siblings, and not a particular girl.

"you don't mean that you only miss yurim, right?" mei gave him a teasing look as ricky nudged the older girl playfully. hao gave the pair a 'i am so sick and tired of his bs' look to the pair as he trudged wearily into the bathroom. the duo stared at him in confusion.

"are you sure he's okay?"

"i don't know."

in a few minutes, hao finished washing up. he walked past the duo, drenched of energy as he slammed the door of his room shut. the two birthday sharers' gaze lingered at the boy before looking at each other.

"yeah he is not okay."

"you wanna check up on him?"

"nah i am not ready to get my neck snapped by him, plus we won't be able to make him happy again. yurim is the only one who can fix him," ricky sighed. "anyways i'm gonna go shower. not gonna lie, i kinda stink," ricky added as he entered the bathroom. mei stared at hao's room worriedly as she took out her phone.
