"uhm... so here's where i live. thanks for walking me home," yurim smiled, giving hao a hug.
hao chuckled softly, returning the hug briefly. "no problem, it was nice to walk with you." he stepped back, a faint smile on his face. "take care, okay?"
"i will. see you tomorrow!" yurim waved before heading inside, her heart still fluttering slightly from the warmth of the moment.

later that evening, yurim was sitting on the couch, scrolling through her phone when she heard footsteps approaching. yujin, taesan, and hyuck walked into the living room, their eyes immediately locking onto her.
"so, who were you with today?" yujin asked, flopping down next to her with a teasing grin.
yurim rolled her eyes, not looking up from her phone. "just kyungmin and hao. i walked min home since riwoo was busy. hao tagged along."
taesan raised an eyebrow, leaning against the doorframe. "just him, huh?" he smirked, crossing his arms. "you sure about that?"
"yes, just him," yurim replied flatly, trying not to react to their teasing.
hyuck laughed, sitting down on the other side of yurim. "i don't know, looks like someone had a nice time."
"i can walk my friends home without it being a big deal," she huffed, finally looking up at them. "what's with all the questions?"
yujin leaned closer with a mischievous grin. "we just wanna know, noona. plus, i know hao. no harm in asking, right?"
taesan chimed in with a wink, "exactly. we're just looking out for you."
"stop acting like i'm some kind of teenager with a crush," yurim muttered, playfully shoving taesan. "you guys are impossible."
hyuck laughed, nudging her with his elbow. "nah, we're just being good siblings. but if you like him, just go for it."
yujin grinned at the thought. "i mean, it wouldn't hurt."
yurim sighed dramatically, sinking back into the couch. "i'm not thinking about that right now, okay? leave me alone."
"we're just having fun," taesan said, still smirking. "but seriously, if you ever need advice, we've got your back."
yurim shot them a look. "yeah, yeah, i know. but can you all stop making it weird?"
the teasing continued for a bit, but deep down, yurim couldn't shake the feeling of warmth from walking home with hao earlier that day.
