"bye yujinie and jinseoie! we'll see you both soon," the two year ones hugged us tightly as the tenth-grader waved at us before they left.

yujin and i walked back to our seats in silence while the entire class stared at us. well, it wasn't every day you saw two first graders with siblings already in university and one in another grade. i mean, yurim and taesan sunbae were both really popular and good-looking, so that was probably why

"uh, sorry about my siblings-they can be quite annoying sometimes," yujin whispered apologetically as he fiddled with his fingers.

"oh, it's alright. they were really fun to be with, and i like yurim sunbae. she's really outgoing and hyperactive."

"that's nice to hear. i'm sure noona would be happy to know that," he replied as our desks were engulfed in another bout of awkward silence. he started sketching something in his sketchbook, and i couldn't help but stare at his side profile.

yujin's side profile had a gentle, almost soft elegance to it. his nose was delicately defined, adding a subtle depth to his features, and his smooth jawline framed his face gracefully. his dark lashes cast faint shadows against his cheeks as he looked down at his sketchbook, giving him a focused, almost serene expression. his lips were slightly parted as he concentrated, revealing a hint of quiet intensity that made him captivating to observe.

suddenly, he turned to face me, his eyes bright with curiosity. "uh jinseo-ah, is there something on my face?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.

"a-a-ah, no, it's no-thing," i stammered, flustered at being caught in the act. my cheeks heated up as i fumbled for words, my mind scrambling for anything that didn't sound suspicious.

yujin blinked, a soft smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "alright then," he said, his voice laced with gentle amusement. he turned back to his sketchbook, and i let out a quiet breath, grateful that he hadn't asked more question

[han yujin pov]

as we walked back to our seats, the lingering stares of our classmates were impossible to ignore. after all, it wasn't every day where you see two first graders with siblings already in university. i didn't mind it for myself, but i worried it might make jinseo uncomfortable. "uh, sorry about my siblings- they can be quite annoying sometimes," I whispered, fiddling with my fingers.

she smiled at me, and my heart did a little flip. "oh, it's alright. they were really fun to be with, and I like yurim sunbae. she's really outgoing and hyperactive."

I couldn't help but smile back, feeling a warm flutter in my chest. "that's nice to hear; I'm sure noona would be happy to know that."

the silence that followed wasn't awkward, but I still wanted to say something more. I picked up my sketchbook and started drawing, trying to focus, but I could feel her gaze lingering on me. it was a nice feeling, even if it made my cheeks heat up a bit.

finally, I turned to her with a soft smile. "uh, jinseo-ah, is there something on my face?"

her eyes went wide, and I couldn't help but chuckle a little at how cute she looked when she got flustered. "a-a-ah, no, it's no-thing," she stammered, and I felt a rush of warmth at the sight.

i chuckled, feeling warmth in my chest. "alright then." as i returned to my sketch, i felt her presence beside me, and the familiar butterflies in my stomach. maybe one day i'd tell her how i felt, but for now, i was happy just being here with her, sharing these quiet moments.

ik im late but happy (late) onedoor day!! even tho i joined the fandom late im really glad that im in the fandom. these people gave me another reason to continue living (including my other ults, music, friends and obviously you guys aka luves!!)
