Jimin sat at his desk in their underground lair, his feet propped up as he looked over blueprints of some kind of high-tech weapon that could theoretically seize control of the entire world's financial systems. His henchmen were busy around him, double-checking calculations and prepping for the big moment when the world's largest tech company would fall into his hands. He had timed it perfectly, the stock prices would crash, chaos would ensue, and before anyone knew it, he would control the entire global economy. It was going to be glorious.
"Boss, we've made contact with the infiltrators," Hoseok, his right-hand man, said from across the room. "We're set to go in two hours."
Jimin nodded, a pleased smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Perfect. Let's get this started."
Just as he leaned forward to give the go-ahead, a familiar voice called from behind him.
"Jimin!"
Jimin paused, his smirk dropping for a moment. He turned around to see Y/N standing in the doorway with her hands on her hips. He immediately softened. His brilliant plan to topple the world's most powerful company could wait. His wife was clearly about to say something important.
"Yes, my love?" he asked, his tone a complete 180 from the menacing authority he had just been using.
Y/N walked over, holding up a small notepad. "We're out of milk."
Jimin blinked, the words taking a second to register. Milk? The global economy was about to be at his mercy, but Y/N was concerned about groceries?
"Milk?" he repeated, glancing around at his henchmen, who were doing their best to avoid his gaze. They were all pretending not to notice the sudden shift in their boss's demeanor. "That's what you needed to tell me?"
Y/N nodded, completely serious. "Yeah, and we're out of eggs too. I was going to go to the store, but I thought I'd remind you before you started your big 'take over the world' thing."
Jimin stood up, his face softening into a fond smile. "I appreciate the reminder, sweetheart, but I've got this whole thing planned. It's kind of a big deal."
"I know," Y/N said, reaching up to smooth a wrinkle in his shirt. "But if we're out of eggs, I can't make breakfast tomorrow. You love my pancakes."
Jimin sighed dramatically. "You're right, I do love your pancakes."
He looked back at Hoseok and the other henchmen, who were clearly trying not to laugh. Jimin raised an eyebrow at them, immediately silencing any hint of amusement. He wasn't going to let something as minor as groceries get in the way of his world domination, but...
"Fine," Jimin said, pulling out his phone and adding milk and eggs to a list. "I'll make sure it gets handled."
Y/N smiled and leaned up to kiss his cheek. "You're the best."
