The lair was alive with its usual hum of activity. Henchmen scurried about, preparing for whatever scheme Jimin had concocted next. Plans to dismantle global banking systems were underway, blueprints for nefarious devices littered the long control room tables, and yet, amidst all the chaos, one thing remained constant: the collective, almost reverent, love Jimin's henchmen had for Y/N.Y/N didn't know exactly when she had gained this reputation, but it had become clear over the last few months that Jimin's entire army of henchmen, minions, and various villainous underlings were hopelessly devoted to her. More so than to Jimin himself, at times.
It wasn't hard to see why. Y/N, unlike Jimin, had an approachable charm and a warm demeanor that instantly endeared her to people. While Jimin spent his days being a threatening global menace, Y/N spent hers making sure everyone in the lair was taken care of. It didn't matter if they were part of Jimin's latest evil plot, if someone looked like they hadn't eaten, Y/N would be there with a homemade snack.
On this particular day, Y/N had decided it was time to bake something for the henchmen. Jimin was off in his private lair, likely plotting something dramatic and world-threatening, so she had the kitchen to herself. Her apron was dusted with flour as she stirred a batch of cookie dough, humming softly to herself.
"Should we... help?" Yoongi, one of Jimin's top henchmen, whispered as he peeked into the kitchen from the hallway.
"No way, we'd just get in her way," Taehyung, another of Jimin's right-hand men, said with a grin. "Plus, Y/N's baking is way better when she does it herself."
A few more henchmen gathered behind them, eyes wide as they watched Y/N meticulously place dollops of dough onto the baking sheet. There was a collective sigh as the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies started to waft through the lair.
"I don't know how she does it," Hoseok, Jimin's ever-eager second-in-command, muttered. "How is she so... perfect?"
"I know, right?" Taehyung added with a grin. "We should've known Jimin was going to end up with someone incredible. I mean, he's not exactly the most normal guy out there."
The group of henchmen nodded in agreement, watching Y/N with a mix of awe and affection.
When Y/N finally finished baking, she brought out the first batch of cookies to the main control room where the henchmen were working. As soon as she appeared in the doorway, there was an almost immediate reaction, henchmen looked up from their evil computers, blueprints were set aside, and several of them perked up like kids about to get candy.
"Y/N!" Taehyung practically bounded over to her, flashing that enthusiastic smile that had made him a henchman favourite in the lair. "Are those what I think they are?"
Y/N grinned, holding up the tray. "Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Figured you all deserved a treat."
Hoseok practically pushed his way to the front, a grin plastered on his face. "See, this is why we love you, Y/N. You're too good to us."
