"I hate you so much," I say, making sure to meet his intense gaze, my voice dripping with playful venom.

"How do I look?" I asked, smiling at my reflection in the mirror and turning the phone towards Aiza, waiting for her opinion.
Yesterday had been overwhelming, to say the least. When I came back, I told Aiza everything, from the conversation with Aziz to agreeing to give us a chance.
She was furious at first, upset that I hadn't shared all the details sooner, but then she turned ecstatic.
She's been teasing me non-stop, asking if we'd done anything yet, and I've been dodging her questions—obviously, I couldn't tell her everything.
Shayan wouldn't understand either, especially since he doesn't like Aziz at all. I'd have to work on that, but for now, Aiza was the better option to confide in.
Right now, I was getting ready for our "date." The idea made me feel more nervous than I thought it would. I don't know why, but insecurities were creeping in.
What if I wasn't enough?
What if this didn't work?
What if Aziz was just... pretending?
No, no, not going there.
The doubts swirled in my mind, tightening my chest. I was so nervous, my hands were trembling slightly.
"So damn beautiful that he'll probably jump on you," Aiza's voice broke through my whirlwind of thoughts, pulling me back into the present.
Her usual teasing tone brought a smile to my face, easing some of my nerves.
"Stop it," I said, shaking my head.
"I'm already nervous enough as it is."
"Oh please, Seher, he's going to fall all over himself. Trust me, you've got this," Aiza reassured me, but before I could respond, she giggled.
"By the way, some random guy has been texting me sweet nothings like 'You look beautiful every day' and'I can't stop thinking about you.' Blah blah blah. So annoying."
I chuckled at her exasperated tone.
"Sounds like you've got yourself a secret admirer."
