The Morning after the deed was done, Murdoc was the first person to wake up. (Y/n) was still sleep as her bruises were still exposed. Even if her body was covered. He looked back at her as he was about to get out of bed. Murdoc turns his head back to only see the fading bruises still on her lower back. He grew pity for his new one night stand girl. In his mind, he wanted to leave her, but... it lead no purpose of him getting the hotel room for an extra night. His heart is telling him not to leave her. Whether she is covered in bruises or not. There was something about her that made him not want to leave.

Murdoc recalls in that moment; It was right there and then I knew I had to change for the better, you know? It was difficult to even imagine how a selfless woman can get hurt very easily. So I stayed with her. Out of all the other girls I went out with, this one was really special.

Murdoc grabbed his underwear, pants. And puts on his black shirt. He left his upside down cross on the coffee table and went to the kitchen. He looked in the kitchen to find no food for them. Which was fine. Murdoc uses this time to leave a note for (y/n) to wake up to. As soon as he placed the written note on the bed, he went downstairs to the lobby to go grab some breakfast for the two.

(Y/n) had woken up with her leg's feeling numb and her body relaxed. The edge was off as she felt like a new woman. She hummed in delight as the sunlight was beaming down on her through the window. She turns over to see that Murdoc was gone. She was quick enough to see a note. It reads

Morning, Love
I went downstairs to grab a few things. There is another favor I would like to ask from you. I'll let you know when I get back. I'll see you soon

Signed,
Murdoc

(Y/n) recalls; He apparently had never been this nice or sweet to any other girls in his life. My ex friend, Dinah, told me that he was the nastiest most sick twisted man alive. But she never warned me before I met him that night. Maybe she wanted to get back at me or something. Even though she was sick, supposedly.

Murdoc came back full of breakfast stuff on a tray while (y/n) was putting some clothes on. He asked; "You leaving already?"
"No I just got cold," she replies as he puts on his shirt. He walks over to her and sat down on the bed with muffins, bananas, strawberries, and orange juice. Murdoc said; "Well good thing I came back."
As soon as Murdoc and (y/n) were having breakfast, he asked some deep personal questions. It was right there that he wanted to get to know the mysterious woman sitting on the bed. (Y/n) responded; "I am the oldest of ten children." Murdoc spits out his orange juice. He coughs out; "Ten kids? *cough* *cough* Oh my god."
"Don't you have any brothers and sisters?"
"*cough* One half-brother. *cough* That I know of." Murdoc catches his breath and said; "Please continue."
"Okay. I grew up in the military. Helicopter hangers, on-base area, commissary, crappy ass bowling alley's that can easily be mistaken for a strip club at one point, other military installations, you name it. Anyway, long story short, I was kicked out of my parent's house after I graduated high school."
"Why?"
"Because they thought, once I turn 18 and graduated, they thought their job as parents are done. So they tossed my belongings out on the yard and said 'You got five minutes to get your shit off my yard or I am calling the police.' Without any argument, I left. I moved in with Dinah and we both were in college together...and we are both now in so much college loan debt... and I had to save her because she saved me..."
"Did your parents ever call you?"
"Not unless they need something."
"Darling..."
"It's okay. It use to hurt for the first few months but... you get use to it."
(Y/n) regrets being open with him and said; "I'm sorry. I just umm..."
"Don't say you're sorry, darling~Y-you don't need to keep doing that. You don't need to apologize. It's a bad habit you got going on. You don't need to apologize for anything. Ever. Hey I gotta go grab something. I'll be right back." Murdoc leaves the room to go grab a couple things while (y/n) was caught up in the moment. She heard Dare playing in the background. Guess Murdoc thought it was a good time to play one of his songs. While she is alone for a bit, she stood up with Murdoc's shirt covering her body. She started to sway her body to the beat of the music. Her mind getting lost in the ambiance. Murdoc watches her as her mind was finally free. She was finally herself. When she turned around, she see's Murdoc standing there watching her dancing biting his thumbnail. He was leaning on the bathroom door frame as she jumped, stops to only have her explain; "I'm sorry. I got lost in the ambience."
Murdoc chuckles before replying; "You're so cute. Come on, give me a little more." (Y/n) smiles softly as she sways her hips. Murdoc encourages her to only say in fascination; "I liked it. I might join you later, love." The day had passed by so quickly as the two spent time together. Murdoc at one point played the bass for her as he was thinking of a new song. She was in awe at him playing the song for her. It was nice to have her be around someone she can trust.

I was falling in love with him, (y/n) says with a spark in her eyes, when he pulled out the bass, I felt so lucky. While at the same time feeling safe. I don't think I have ever had anyone else do that for me before. I was enchanted.

Murdoc adds; I wanted to impress her in some way. And I thought why not give her something that would make her feel better. I mean she had a difficult life growing up and so did I. It makes sense that I would be able to do something that would make her forget, a-at least for the moment, why we were both there for in the first place. It's a start of a romantic relationship.

Murdoc and (y/n) were getting really close. She got lost in his eyes as he continued to play the bass guitar as the song was slowly ending. He puts the bass away as (y/n)'s phone rang. She sighed in defeat and turns her head to look at the night stand next to her. What showed up on her phone was a pic of Dinah. (Y/n)'s shoulders tensed up. She answered; "Hello?"
"What the fuck are you doing?" Dinah said in anger over the phone. (Y/n) felt like she was being scolded by her own mother. When that "mother" is actually her "friend". (Y/n) replied scared;"I accidentally fell asleep and..."
"You were supposed to be here hours ago."
"I know. I'm so sorry. I just need..."
"You don't need anything. Be here at 8pm tonight or I am locking the apartment."
"How can you lock me out when I have the key, too."
"You sure about that?"
(Y/n), scared for her life, dug through her clothes, purse, and bag she came in with. No apartment key in sight. Murdoc watches his new beau look around for the apartment keys. He snatches the phone away from (y/n)'s hand and says; "You listen here you ungrateful little cunt, Your friend is doing you a favor and she isn't done yet. You wouldn't want me to call your boss and let him know who I was really with tonight, now do you?" Dinah changed her aggressively dominating demeanor and responded; "No sir."
"I didn't think so. If I get a call from (y/n) later on tomorrow night that she is locked out, I will let him know, with physical evidence with me, that you did not work last night. Is that clear?"
"Yes, sir."
"Good... You will see her tomorrow whether you like it or not."
Murdoc hung up the phone and walked over to (y/n). Her hands were shaking, her body was tense. Murdoc held her from behind. Her back on his chest as he wrapped his arms around her. She starts to hyperventilate. Murdoc pets her head as he tries to calm her down. He said; "I got you. Everything's gonna be alright. I promise." Murdoc guides her to take deep breaths in and out as slowly as possible.

Murdoc states; Dinah fucked her up so badly. I have never seen anyone's whole body shake like that before. It breaks my heart ever since. I was growing concerned about her safety. Granted, Dinah was not the best person, but she was definitely not the worst person either one night stand wise. At least until that day I met my lover here.

That night, Murdoc and (Y/n) did do what they originally wanted to do. Murdoc slept with her with her hand on his chest, arms wrapped around her, his nose covered by her shoulder. As he was inhaling (y/n)'s scent, he knew she was safe and secure.

The next morning, (y/n) packed up her and Dinah's stuff and walked over to the front door. Before she left, Murdoc asks her; "Are you gonna be okay?"
"I'll call you if there are any issues."
"Please do. I love you."
(Y/n) was shocked by the sudden love-bomb drop on her. She smiled at him with sparkles in her eyes. She responded; "I love you too, baby." Murdoc kisses (y/n) passionately before she hands him her phone number and walked out of his hotel room. Murdoc watched her walk away. Admiring everything she has on the back. Her tattoo was still visible and so was her lower back showing the bruises. Murdoc closed the hotel room door to only lean his back against it. He did something he never thought he would ever do. He got on his knee's and prayed to god to protect (y/n). He was praying; "Please please please protect her. I don't want her to get hurt anymore."
