Wooseok stepped into Hyeyoon's apartment, letting the familiar warmth of her place wash over him. He noticed her in the kitchen, her back turned to him as she focused on cutting something on the counter. When she heard the soft rustle of movement behind her, she quickly spun around, her eyes widening in surprise.
"Oppa! What are you doing here?" she exclaimed, her expression shifting from shock to delight as she wiped her hands on a towel and walked over to him. "I thought we were meeting later tonight."
Wooseok's lips curled into a playful smile as he pulled her into a hug, wrapping his arms tightly around her. "I couldn't wait that long," he whispered close to her ear, his voice soft but filled with warmth. "You're leaving tomorrow, so I want to spend every minute I can with you today."
Hyeyoon laughed, the sound light and full of joy, as she tightened her hold on him. "Okay, okay! You win, Oppa!" she said, pulling back slightly to look at him. "Ah, I almost forgot—I have something for you!"
Wooseok raised an eyebrow, curiosity sparking in his eyes. "Oh? What is it?"
Hyeyoon grabbed his hand and led him to the dining table, gently pushing him into one of the chairs. "Sit right here and close your eyes," she instructed, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.
Wooseok crossed his arms over his chest and gave her a mock-serious look. "Aigoo, Hyeyoon-ah, you're not planning to do anything weird to me, are you?" he teased, pretending to shield himself. "I know you missed me, but if you're that desperate to kiss me, I guess I'll allow it." He exaggeratedly puckered his lips, leaning forward as if inviting a kiss.
Hyeyoon burst into laughter, smacking his hand away. "Yah! You're such a pervert, Oppa!" she said, her laughter ringing in the air. "Just do what I say and close your eyes, or I'm taking back the surprise!"
Wooseok pouted dramatically but finally gave in, sighing as he shut his eyes. "Fine, fine," he mumbled, feigning a sulk. "You're so bossy, you know that?"
Hyeyoon rolled her eyes at his antics but couldn't hide her smile. With Wooseok's eyes closed, she quickly went to the refrigerator, the faint hum of its door opening filling the room. She retrieved a small, neatly wrapped package and set it on the counter, unwrapping it with care. He could hear the gentle sound of chopping, his curiosity growing with each second.
A moment later, Hyeyoon stood in front of him again. "Okay, Oppa. Open your mouth," she said, her voice brimming with excitement.
"Aish, Hyeyoon-ah! Who's the real pervert now?" Wooseok joked, a grin spreading across his face despite his closed eyes. "First you call me a pervert, now you're telling me to open my mouth? Who's taking advantage of whom here?"
Hyeyoon playfully nudged his shoulder. "Just hurry up and do it!" she insisted, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Wooseok hesitated for a second, then finally parted his lips, still a bit skeptical. Hyeyoon carefully placed a piece of fruit into his mouth, watching his reaction closely. The moment he bit down, the sweet, juicy flavor of the fruit filled his senses. His eyes flew open in surprise. "Flat Peach!" he exclaimed, his face lighting up with delight. "How did you get these?"
Hyeyoon grinned, clearly pleased with herself. "I know you've been craving these, so I used my connections to get them for you," she said with a wink, looking proud of her little surprise.
Feeling touched by her thoughtfulness, Wooseok couldn't hold back his emotions any longer. He pulled her into a tight hug, wrapping his arms around her like he never wanted to let go. "Gomawo, Hyeyoon-ah," he whispered, his voice slightly hoarse with emotion.
Hyeyoon melted into his embrace, holding him just as tightly. "You're welcome, Oppa!" she said, her voice soft but full of warmth. She pulled back slightly, resting her chin on his chest to look up at him, her smile still radiant. "Why don't you take a shower first, and then we can have breakfast together? Or do you want to rest for a bit? I don't have anything to do today, so we can have a chill day. Just you and me." She grinned, her eyes twinkling with excitement.
Wooseok let out a light chuckle, his earlier weariness already melting away in her presence. "Aigoo, you've thought of everything, haven't you?" he said, gently brushing a stray strand of hair away from her face. "A chill day with my favorite person sounds perfect."
Hyeyoon's smile grew even wider at his words. "Good! Then it's settled," she said, giving him a playful nudge. "Go on, Oppa. Freshen up, and I'll make you something. I'll be waiting for you." She let go of him and headed to the kitchen.
Wooseok hesitated for a moment, watching her with a mix of amusement and concern. "What are you planning to make?" he asked, trying to mask the slight hint of fear in his voice. He knew that while Hyeyoon was wise, beautiful, and perfect in his eyes, her cooking skills were—well, let's just say they left a lot to be desired.
Hyeyoon turned back to him with a laugh. "Don't worry! I promise I won't poison you!" she teased, winking at him. "How about toast with cream cheese and peach? That should be safe, right?"
"Perfect!" Wooseok replied, grinning in relief. "I think I can trust you with that." He gave her one last smile before heading to the bathroom to freshen up.
