P. 7: A new beginning that you didn't ask for.

We walked into the gymnasium, the place was filled head to toe with other students.

I looked around for any sort of free spot, there was a space next to this chubby girl with pink hair.

“Maybe we should sit over there, Yuu.” I suggested.

“Oh! Uh- ermm..” Yuu hesitated, it felt a tad bit out of character.

All of a sudden, the girl called out to us on her own.

“Hey! The gymnasium is quite packed, maybe you should come sit here!” She called out. Seeing Yuu stand around nervously, I grabbed her wrist and brought her over before we got trampled.

“Hey! You, with the pigtails. You look kind of..familiar, do I know y-”

“NO! ..I mean, uh..I dunno, maybe? Uh..the world's a pretty big place! Haha!” Yuu said nervously once she was asked that, She was acting..off. Maybe she had some.. uncomfortable history with this girl. She seemed nice, but..so did Kathryn.

“Hey, are you uncomfortable sitting here?” I whispered. I didn't wanna have to put her in an uncomfortable situation. I know what it's like to feel like that. Maybe I found someone who I could relate to..maybe I-

“Okay, fuck it. Uhmm- I've kinda..liked this girl at the school I attended before. But uhm- I never really talked to her. I'm just a bit, nervous?” She replied.

Well, atleast I know that she's..somewhat okay here?

“Yuu, if there's anything I've learnt about people. You should try to get closer to her while you're both at this school. Don't rush anything, but please. If you can get close to somebody, you should go for it.” I told her.

I did not mean to let that much slip out, but I guess my gut just completely trusted Yuu already. I mean- I trust people very quickly. But I really don't want to trust everyone I meet immediately. I'm too scared to have a repeat of that happen.

“That's.. actually kinda really relieving, maybe I’ll take that into account. Thanks!” She whispered back. I'm glad that there was atleast one other person who'd actually take the time to listen to me.

“Since they haven't started yet, uhm- what're your guys' names? Mine is Aria.” The girl with the pink hair said.

“I'm Yuu, and this here is Joan.” Yuu said. She was a lot less nervous when saying this, I guess I must have really motivated her.

“Hey- I think we might've gone to the same school Yuu!” Aria replied to Yuu.

The two of them made conversation, that was good for them that they were talking.

I go back to my journal, maybe to write an entry about this place so far. Although, I saw something written in this.. glowing ink?

Before I could even finish reading this, it disappeared before my very eyes after I blinked.

..Maybe I'm just tired.

I slam the journal shut, I can't deal with this junk.
