A Talk With The Quiet Kid

Chapter 8

Katsuki POV - Present

'You're not okay- what's wrong?' I hear Mina ask.

'Apologize.' I hear again. Please stop.

'Should we call Aizawa?' Kirishima suggests.

I look up at him while alarmingly screaming 'No, don't- I ju-' I stop.

Izuku is standing behind Kirishima, next to the couch.

My eyes widen. Light fading out of my eyes.

Third person POV

Kirishima sees his friend looking terrified behind Kirishima himself. He looks back, not seeing anything. Mina does the same and sees nothing as well.

Katsuki's ears are ringing. breath is out of control. And he's still frozen in place.

Mina informs Kirishima to call Aizawa as fast as possible. Kirishima stands up and walks away while dialing his teacher's number.

Everything is going black in Katsuki's surroundings, again.

'Apologize.' He hears Izuku say again, but his mouth doesn't move. Katsuki is starting to hear whispers of all the stuff he said to Mina and Kirishima from a week ago.

While Katsuki is hallucinating, Mina walks up towards him. Not knowing what Katsuki is seeing. She reaches her hand out to touch her friend's shoulder to comfort him, but her hand gets slapped away by Katsuki while his quirk is activated.

Mina grabs her hand in pain and curses. Looking at her friend in disbelief.

Luckily Aizawa was close to the dorms. He was walking towards the elevator to go up and check up on Katsuki if he relapsed or not, but he got a phone call from Kirishima at that time. So he was quickly there to help the panicking boy.

Izuku disappeared when Aizawa rushed into the room. The black surroundings disappeared a few seconds later. When everything was still black, Katsuki screamed frightened because he had his eyes open. He thought he died.

Katsuki slowly goes back to his senses and sees all the people around him. Ochako and Shoto heard his screams and rushed into the common room.

Katsuki was holding the hair on the back of his head while looking around, scared, sorry and sad all at the same time.

He felt scared because he thought it wouldn't happen ever again.
Sorry, for scaring his classmates.
And sad because he doesn't know what to do.

He hears Mina yell in pain 'Ow, ow, ow- it burns!!' while she's running towards the kitchen sink, holding her own hand. With Shoto following her to cool her hands down with his quirk.

Katsuki doesn't understand why she's in pain. Till he realizes he hurt her the same way he hurt his own mom. He rushes towards her asking if she's okay. She looks back at him with fear in her eyes.

Katsuki steps back and his facial expression goes from worried to scared and realization.

Everyone is scared of him.

They realized how he really is.

He's a monster.

'I didn't change..' Katsuki mumbles to himself.

'I didn't change,' He mumbles again while turning around.

'I didn't change.' He repeats while walking away saying it over and over again.

A few moments later, Kirishima wants to follow his friend, but gets stopped by Aizawa. He says to his student that he's gonna help the panicking boy. Aizawa quickly follows Katsuki.
