Jaeyun's heart dropped. His breath caught in his throat, and for a moment, everything froze. "What did you do?" he growled, stepping toward Jungwoo, every muscle in his body tensed and ready for a fight.

Jungwoo laughed coldly, backing up just out of reach. "I don't need to do much. Sunghoon's already doing it for me." He flashed a wicked smile. "Let's just say... he's not quite himself right now."

Jaeyun's blood ran cold. He turned sharply in the direction of Sunghoon's house, realising the horrifying truth. Miyeon was alone with Sunghoon, and he was telling the truth, she was in serious danger.

Jaeyun barely had time to react before Jungwoo lunged at him, knocking him off balance once again. The force of the impact sent Jaeyun crashing to the ground, his body skidding across the dirt. He groaned, quickly scrambling to his feet, only to see Jungwoo standing in front of him, blocking his path.

"You're not going anywhere," he sneered, his eyes gleaming with malevolence.

Jaeyun's heart raced, desperation clawing at his chest. Miyeon needed him, and he couldn't waste any more time. He clenched his fists, his vampire instincts kicking in, but his mind was clouded with worry for her.

"Get out of my way, Jungwoo!" Jaeyun growled, his voice low and dangerous. He knew a fight was inevitable, and right now, there was no reasoning with his brother.

Jungwoo simply laughed. "Oh, I don't think so. It's too much fun watching you squirm. Besides, do you really think you can save her? You couldn't even stop yourself from nearly killing her last time."

The words hit Jaeyun like a punch to the gut, but he refused to let them break him. "That was your fault!" Jaeyun snapped, stepping forward. "You manipulated everything!"

Jungwoo shrugged, still grinning. "Maybe I did. But you're not going to save her this time either."

With a snarl, Jaeyun launched himself at him, their bodies colliding in a brutal struggle. Fists flew, and the sound of their fight echoed in the still night air. Jungwoo was strong, but Jaeyun was fueled by pure desperation, his love for Miyeon pushing him beyond his limits.

Jaeyun's fists collided with his face, rage burning through his veins. "You're risking everything over this?!" he shouted, his voice filled with frustration and disbelief. "All because she's human?"

Jungwoo easily deflected Jaeyun's next attack, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Humans are pathetic and weak," he sneered, pushing Jaeyun back. "They don't belong with us. They're nothing more than prey."

Jaeyun growled, his hands tightening into fists. "Miyeon isn't just some human! She's more than that. She's everything to me!"

Jungwoo scoffed, dodging Jaeyun's next swing. "And that's exactly why she's a problem, little brother. You've gotten soft. Love has made you weak, blind to your duty. The kingdom comes first, not your little human."
