In Love With The King

An: In 1464, Madeleine would be 9 years old.  So different face claim.  

At Court 

No one POV  

Madeleine was walking down the steps, She overheard Warwick speaking to the Lords saying "My Lords. We welcome you to court. The king has some important news he wishes to share with you about Princess Bona of France." 

George walked up and said "Hasn't our mother told you multiple times not to eavesdrop" and Madeleine turned around and said "George, you scared me, and I wasn't eavesdropping, I was listening in." 

George said "I see, and what is the difference, Come on our brother returns today" and Madeleine said "Are the battles over." 

George grabbed her hand and said "For now, It seems, Mad King Henry has lost his wits." 

Madeleine said "What about the Bad Queen?" and George said "She's fled, and if she knows what's good for her, she'll stay in exile." 

They walked up the stairs, and walked into a hallway, Edward said "Brother, Madeleine"  and Madeleine curtised and said "Your Grace." 

Edward said "Did you run off again?" and George said "Yes." 

Edward said "Don't you have lessons to attend" and Madeleine said "But they are so boring, Today is just sewing, which is the same, and it's easy." 

Edward said "Aren't you good at sewing" and Madeleine said "Yes, that's why it's easy, I much prefer other days when we read more." 

Warwick walked up and Edward said "Try not to run off too much" and Edward walked inside the room, and closed the doors. 

George said "Don't even try it, come on let's go" and Inside, Edward had told Warwick of how he was married to Elizabeth and Warwick said "Dear God, I should've guessed that whore would get her hooks into you when she lured you into her hovel." 

Edward said "You may not call her that. She is the queen." 

Warwick said "She is a roadside strumpet and this can easily be undone. It must be."

Edward said "She is my queen of choice and I..." and Warwick shouted "Of choice? Have you gone mad? We've... We've got a peace treaty to conclude with France and without it, that whore of Anjou will bring the whole French army against us and this time they will win!". 

Edward said "I cannot help it. " 

Warwick said "Well, you will have to help it! I've not spent the last year of my life scraping to that fat French pig for Princess Bona's hand for you to just throw it all away! Now get in there and make the announcement." 

He lead him out of the room.

In the Main Hall 

Madeleine was standing next to Richard and George, Cecily looked over and said "Madeleine, stand tall." 

Madeleine said "I miss Eliza and Anne, do you think they might visit soon" and Margaret said "They could try, but they have their own marriages and families to attend so, as will we some day." 

Cecily said "That is your duty, and you can find happiness in that, new interest, there can be much joy in running a household. " 

Edward walked up and said "Um, thank you for your patience. We are proud and happy to announce... I am married to Lady Elizabeth Grey." 

Margaret looked surprised, and Madeleine said "i thought he was marrying the French Princess." 

Cecily said "He was supposed to" and Margaret said "Who is Lady Elizabeth Grey?".
