A/N: thanks for all the reads. I didn't think so many people would read my story. Sorry that this is so short but it's what I have and it has been a while since I updated
Chapter 33
Megatron's POV
I walked up to what the insects called the Lincoln Memorial. Starscream was coming up behind me praising my brilliant plan. "Oh, my master, such a brilliant scheme. So, when Sentinel left Cybertron, it was to defect."
"He was meant to rendezvous with me here on Earth before fate waylaid us both. The only way to revive him......we needed Prime and his matrix," I growled my servo curling into a fist. I shot the statue of the insect out of the chair so I could sit in it as a throne and watch as Decepticons take over the city then the world.
"Excellent strategy," Starscream praised further. "So he is now your partner, master."
"He is my greatest triumph," I said watching on as the Auto bots started to appear on the scene. No doubt that that interesting insect that was always with the Auto bots would show up. She was always with them, especially when we were on the scene. She had to protect the Auto bots from the humans from what I had heard.
"So impressive," Starscream said.
Sentinel's voice rose over all the noise of the panicked insects, "Commencing transport." He was reaching out to the portal, ready to turn it on when Optimus appeared with that insect on his shoulder. She was always with them. For some reason, she didn't seem to fear us or what we could do to her if we got our hands on her.
"Stop! No, no, no Sentinel!" Prime called out holding his hand out to his former teacher.
"Forgive me," Sentinel said starting up the portal.
"Here we are. Fight us now," I said as Decepticons came raining down through the portal and chaos broke out in the streets and all the insects panicked.
Allison's POV
Optimus went after Sentinel as more Decepticons came raining down as fireballs from the sky. Optimus dodged them running through the streets. "Auto bots, retreat!" I stayed on his shoulder. As Optimus pushed Sentinel up against a statue base of granite Optimus asked, "Why Sentinel, why?" Sentinel had a blade to the cables in Optimus' neck. I readied my cannon.
"For Cybertron, for our home," Sentinel was pushing Optimus against the statue base as Optimus struggled against him. "What war destroyed we can rebuild, but only if we join with the Decepticons."
Optimus tried to get back on his feet but was pushed back. I raised my canon so it was level with Sentinel's optic. "No, it's not the only way, this is our home. We must defend the humans," Optimus said.
"So lost you are, Optimus," Sentinel said standing to his full height twirling his blade. "On Cybertron we were Gods and here, they call us machines. Let the humans serve us, or perish." Sentinel pushed the tip of his blade into Optimus' neck before walking away. "You're lucky I didn't kill you, in time, you'll see."
"It's not over," Optimus said getting to his feet. And so the war begins.
