Chapter 11

--Perfection in my Eyes (No One Compares)--

You are truly the epitome of perfection,
The embodiment of all that is good and remarkable.
Your kindness knows no bounds,
Your love is boundless,
And your presence brings endless joy.
In my eyes, there is simply no one else who compares.

Mina sighed, holding Mio in her arms. Mio had asked her friend to come to her dorm to talk, but Mio ended up crying while telling her what she had learned.

"Mio..." Mina ran her fingers through the girl's hair.

"Y-yes?"

"I know it hurts, but there are more guys. Plus, he's not even the best out there." Mina said. Mio got out of her embrace.

"What?"

"I don't understand what you see in him." Mina frowned.

"You don't see it?" Mio frowned.

"No, I don't." The yellow eyed girl said.

"How?" She asked in disbelief.

"He has ugly ass hair, his eyes look like blood, he's a complete asshole, he's dense, um anger issues, also I've never heard him say sorry before. And he's so loud." Mina listed things. Mio scoffed.

"His unruly hair is beautiful! Also, nobody has vermillion eyes like him. They're so beautiful that I wish my blood reflected his eyes. He's not an asshole. He just comes off as rude sometimes. His denseness is adorable. He can't help that he has anger issues. He tries to be nice. He says,'sorry', you just aren't around when he does. And he's only loud when he's passionate about something." Mio continued.

"He's so kind. He aspires to be the best version of him that he can be. He wants to be a hero and help people. And he cares so much about his friends. It hurts hearing what you just said about him." Mio said. Mina stared at her in disbelief.

"I didn't mean he was a bad friend." Mina sighed.

"I love him." Mio admitted.

"I know." Mina sighed before continuing.

"That's what I'm afraid of."
