A/n: I did this instead of my homework.

Didn't want to try and figure out YouTube. I don't got time for that.
Now y'all will know why these take me so long.
The audio's kinda trash and there's a lot of spots where it's mute cause I was too lazy to throw in a background track, so I recommend putting your own soundtrack to it.
Also would love to know who actually makes it through the whole thing.
Sonic was behaving strangely when (Y/n) next entered his cell. He sat on his cot, legs crossed and his hands in his lap, his head tilted as he stared pensively at her.
"What?" she asked, looking around and then down at herself. Sonic squinted, then seemed to shake off whatever stupor he was in, sitting up straight and smiling at her. She hesitantly returned the expression, closing the door behind her and tucking her hands into her pockets.
"So," she started, his ears twitching as he stared expectantly at her, "I was thinking we should start...planning, I guess, for how to get you three together."
Sonic smirked, resting his chin on his fist. "Playing matchmaker, are we?" he purred. (Y/n) rolled her eyes, moving to sit on the cot next to him.
"You know what I mean. As convenient as it would be to just bring you all together in the secondary realm, we need your physical bodies together as well. I don't think the ghosts are going to react to each other very well, though, and I don't want to force you to trek across the Burning Zone," she said.
"You could drop me off in the Assassination Zone?" Sonic suggested weakly. "I'm not sure if the cold will spread there, though. Maybe bring Silver here?"
"Maybe there's a Zone overlap somewhere? Like a Venn diagram," (Y/n) mused. She frowned, thinking about the abrupt borders between the zones. "Actually, probably not. Maybe bringing Silver here would be the best idea. Then I can go get Shadow and...and we can finish it here in the Freezing Zone where it all started."
"Coming full circle," Sonic said with a nod. He glanced down at her, shifting away slightly. "Are you sure you're going to be able to make it between all three Zones again? Maybe someone else should go. Blaze can handle the heat, right? She could probably get Shadow--"
"I'll be fine," (Y/n) interrupted, nudging him with her elbow. "I'm just a little more prone to the extreme temperatures than I used to be. My legs still work just fine."
"It's not just the temperatures," Sonic pointed out. "There's still monsters out there."
"I have Tikal."
"And what about other ghosts? With your immunity fading, they might be able to--"
"I can help with that!"
Both (Y/n) and Sonic startled as a black figure fell through the material of the door, scrambling to right itself and standing up straight. (Y/n)'s mouth fell open, but before she could say anything, Sonic let out a guttural shriek, launching himself off the cot and towards the newcomer.
The assassin let out a high pitched squeak, leaping out of the way. Sonic slammed head first into the wall, hitting the floor and rolling backwards. He screeched furiously, struggling to untangle himself from his chains and snapping several of his limbs in the process.
"Holy Chaos!" (Y/n) exclaimed, rushing forward and pushing Sonic back by the shoulders. "Calm down!"
"Sorry, sorry!" the assassin cried. "I wasn't expecting--"
