Two years after opening her bookshop café, they move to a bigger location, still in Diagon alley. It becomes a meeting place for witches, wizards, and various creatures. At Lupin's, people can relax, drink a warm cup, and read a bit. It's a place to unwind after a hard day at work or to enjoy time with friends. Every evening, it's booked for poetry groups, book clubs, and stand-up comedians. On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, everything from punk bands to jazz pianists and amateur opera singers perform. Of course, wrock bands play there too. Evelyn's and Jennifer's performances become popular, and they get invited to play at other events. But they do it mainly as a fun hobby. Evelyn has her business to run, and Jennifer has her healing work and her twins.

Lupin's is always full, and business is thriving. It's a gathering spot for magical folk, and everyone wants to see the different shows. Despite her desire for children, there are no kids for several years. They are busy with the café bookshop. Remus and Evelyn also want to travel and see the world, so each holiday, they go to a new continent and explore a new exciting country. Their plans for children are put on hold for a while.

But suddenly, it feels like it's time. They have seen a large part of the world and everything they could wish for (it's pretty quick to get places when you can teleport). The natural urge to settle down takes hold of Evelyn. Suddenly, she can't think of anything but wanting to be round, have a baby bump, and carry a child, feeling her big belly move and humming to the little one inside. Then taking care of the little creature, cuddling it, feeding it, even changing diapers doesn't seem so bad anymore. Teaching the little one to walk and talk, and then getting them to stop running and be quiet. She wants to teach her child what's important in life—not money or power, not status or fame. Empathy and kindness, common sense and a clear mind, are more important traits. Taking care of one's health, daring to feel love regardless of what others think, and cherishing family and friends—those are the qualities she wants to pass on. She also wants to take her children—yes, she plans to have more than one—on trips and let them discover the beauty of nature. They shouldn't sit at home in front of the TV and become couch potatoes; they should go out and live life for real! But one thing at a time. First, a little one to cuddle and care for. Yes, Evelyn is ready to start a family.

A week after turning 27, the first baby pops out. A mischievous little girl named Hope, after Remus's mother. No werewolf tendencies there. Just over a year later, in the fall, baby number two arrives, a sweet little boy named after one of Remus's best friends who was killed by Voldemort, James. He doesn't seem to have werewolf traits either.

They think that should be enough children for a while, but then, two years later, in the spring, they have twins—two mischievous daughters who are always getting into trouble. Their names are Prudence and Grace. No werewolf tendencies there either. After four children, they really think the baby factory should close. But as the other kids grow up, Evelyn longs for another little bundle with tiny hands and big innocent eyes. So five years later, she gives birth to a lovely little boy, Lyall, after Remus's father. He has sharp teeth and more hair than a usual baby, plus his eyes are yellow. But nothing happens at full moon, so Remus can breathe easy for the fifth time.

Remus adjusts well to being a dad. Or well, who likes never getting sleep, being thrown up on, and constantly being sticky and messy? Who wants to deal with screaming, fighting, and defiant kids? Just cleaning, washing, cooking, and shopping for spoiled, dirty, loud, ungrateful brats, day in and day out, year after year... But yes, the positives outweigh the tough parts, and Remus loves being a dad and adores his kids and wife. It feels like he woke up from a long sleep, and life really began when he met Evelyn. Now, he can't imagine life before the kids. Everything that happened before seems unimportant; it was all just to reach the point of meeting his imperfectly perfect children. He can't picture life without either Evelyn or the kids. He loves them more than anything.

Hope starts at Hogwarts and is sorted into Gryffindor, as is James. Prudence and Grace end up in Slytherin, and sweet little Lyall is in Ravenclaw. Evelyn would have liked it if someone had been sorted into Hufflepuff, so she could have one child in each house, but she can be satisfied. She is very proud of all her children, who grow up to be wonderful witches and wizards. Hope and James get brown hair from their father and are funny and kind, making many friends. Prudence and Grace are blonde and blue-eyed like their mother. They are ambitious and become skilled chasers on Slytherin's Quidditch team. Lyall is blonde too. He is very smart and becomes the highest-achieving student in his year. He is also appointed as a prefect.

Remus and Evelyn live with their big family, experiencing ups and downs, but they are always very happy. They grow old together; the kids move out one by one, but they always keep in good contact with their parents. Over the years, Remus and Evelyn make many good friends, and being a werewolf is no longer so shameful. The potion becomes more effective, and werewolves pose no threat to others; they are just like any other witches and wizards, only with "a little illness" for which they need to take medicine.
