Chapter 24 : Second task

Amelias POV

I tried to get the twins far away from me the night before the task and It was not that hard. Charlie on the other hand I just had to keep hidden in the head girl dorm so he would not get found. I borrowed Harry's inviability cloak just to find Charlie gone when I got back. I knew someone had gotten him and he was going in  well shit.

Charlies POV

I had finally gotten to Hogwarts but I could tell Amelia was on edge. She looked to me and gave me a hug.

" Hey so you might be in danger and if you find yourself at the bottom of the lake I failed to hide you so I'm going to go get Harrys cloak to hide you. Okay I love you, see you soon." She said while halfway out of the door.

I looked at her in shock. Why the hell would I find myself at the bottom of a lake? What did I do wrong? I took my mind off the fact she said I was in danger and put it on the fact she told me she loved me. It was a regular occurrence but always caught me off guard. She says I love you and Im caught off guard. I kiss her shes caught off guard. I always love that. Neither of us still have taken in the amazing fact that we are dating and I love that. 

My mind was going to never stop thinking about that but just then Minnie walked in and looked at me a little shocked.

" Weasley what are you doing in the head girls dorm? " Minnie asked me I just smiled sheepishly.

" Well I was here for the next task to cheer Amelia on. You know my girlfriend. I just had nowhere to stay so I'm just staying here." Minnie looked sad but put a small smile on her face.

" I love that you're here for your girlfriend but you cannot stay here in her dorm I need you to follow me and I will take you to an empty dorm." I get up and follow her trusting her.

I realized halfway that we were heading to Dumbledores office. Why I had no idea. I entered and saw three more people. Hermione, a blonde little girl and my brother, Ron. I looked to him shocked and he looked back to me the same way. I was going to say something when Dumbledore spoke up. 

" None of you are in trouble well maybe the one adult who may be a Weasley in the room." everyone looked at me and I smiled sheepishly." All of you know about the second task and well all of you are needed for it. The champion has to find something they will miss. And that is all of you . Hermione you are Krums. Gabrielle you are Fleurs. Ron you are Harry's. And then Charlie you are Amelia's. I am sorry for this but you will be put under a powerful sleep spell and will wake up when you resurface I will see you In the morning." 

And with those words I felt sleep washing over me and the last thing I felt was my body hitting the ground as the spell took over my body.

Amelia's POV

It was the morning of the task and I could not find Charlie anywhere. That confirmed my thought. He was found and put at the bottom of the lake. All I know is I have to be the first out I have to make it to him first. He had been down there In the cold for hours I cant let him be down there any longer than he needs. I saw the twins running up to me from the corner of my eye.

" Have you seen-"

"- Charlie he was supposed-" 

"- to meet us here." They say together. It kills me when they do that.

" No I haven't seen him since last night but I'm guessing he is down there. " I say while pointing to the lake." The champions have to get something they will miss and Charlie has been gone all night he has to be down there I think it's a person so yeah. " I tell them they look at me shocked then laugh.

" Well I'm just glad its not me I don't want to be a popsicle." Fred says while laughing with Geroge.

" yeah and my guess is Ron is down there too because no one can find him either. " George says to me.

I shake my head " Im going to get Charlie and fast so if I see Ron I will tell you guys." I tell the twins who should have been more worried but its fine.They walk away to go get people to place more bets and they run into Ginny who says something and they just continue. Oh well.

I walk to the edge of the platform and wait for the cannon completely ignoring whatever Bagman was saying as I could care less about that rat. I looked to Harry to see him eating something. He looked like he was choking. I was going to go make sure he was okay but then the cannon blew. I dove in and forgot about Harry only focusing on saving Charlie.
