Chapter 34: We Don't know

We are pretending that they think Gaea is going to camp half blood in case she comes back so that's why they prepare camp. I am going to fast forward to Leo blowing up and forget the fighting as I don't remember the whole thing

Amelias POV

Me and Clarisse had meant all the new kids, or well I did. She knew Piper, Jason, and Leo from the visit they had at camp. I knew Roman gods could exist but it still seems surreal. Clarisse and I were sitting at the table getting to know Frank. It was weird to think his dad is another version of our dad but hell another member to add to the family.

" Wait so you thought your dad was Apollo?" I ask trying to hold back laughs. I had meant the God once and he didn't seem at all like Frank. 

" Hey in my defense I was very quiet and I loved using a bow and arrow. When he came to the camp I was so scared it was not what anyone was expecting. Frank Zhang son of Mars." He says he shakes his head then looks at us." How did you find out Ma- or Ares was your dad?" He asks I nod to Clarisse so she can tell.

" Well I think everyone knew once I got to camp. I was very aggressive and I loved capture the flag. I made it war. I picked on all the kids. When he claimed me I think no one was shocked." I nodded shaking my head. She was right the second she joined camp I knew she was my sister I even told the head of my cabin at the time only to get shoved off.

" Well for me its a very different story. I was born in England and well I was abandoned. " I look down and Clarisse looks shocked. No one  but Annabeth knew my story. But i told her to tell Percy so he probably knows. " Ares came to camp and told Chiron and Mr. D that he had a kid in England they needed to pick up for him." I say Clarisse looks shocked I should have told her but it slipped my mind.

" They came to London and got me. Chiron is the person who named me. Those two raised me, not my mother. Little did i know she died a few years later. Killed along with her husband." I look up to them and see Frank has a small smile on his face showing he cares. I smile back i look to clarisse to see her getting up.

" Where's your mother again i want to pay her a visit." I look down. Did she not hear what i said?

" Shes dead." Frank says. Clarisse gives me an apologetic look and sits back down. " Are any of our mothers even alive?" Frank asks I shake my head along with Clarisse. " Okay so they are all dead another thing we have in common." Frank says a sad but happy smile on his face. i trey to hold back laughter but fail.

" Great we all have dead moms and tragic pasts. The best thing to bond over." I say with a huge sarcastic smile on my face. They  just smile and shake their heads.

" What's going on in here?'" Leo asks running into us.

" Nope I'm out." Clarisse says and walks out to the others.

" It was sibling bonding time Leo but it is no longer that." I say getting up too. I see them both still standing there." You guys coming? We need to get over here. We're almost at Athens." I say then start walking again. 

It had been a few hours and I had gotten no rest. Had Clarisse and me lied to Charlie? Yes. Was he going to find out? Never. We had told him we had a day left of fight but in reality we have about five more minutes. I had gotten no rest but the potions and Ambrosia kicked in and I was up on my feet with a lot of energy.

We knew some one was going to die as the prophecy said so we had gotten Physician's Cure from Apollo. We only hoped it would work and help us. I could only hope it was none of us but if the prophecy says something like that someone will die. We had prepared everything and Leo and I had a plan. If Gaea comes back Leo and I would go up on Festus and figure it out from there. Leo is somehow less fire proof than me. I can withstand more heat than he can, which is good if he is the one who dies I'm giving him the Physicians cure no matter what he says.
