(season 1, episode 1)

HURRICANE AGATHA. A storm that was gonna cause a lot of damage.

Bonnie sat in the Chateau, with Pope, JJ and John B. Kiara had gone home, mainly because her parents would kick her ass if she was somewhere other than Figure Eight during a storm.

They all were darted around the living room, the teens making odd glances to the outside world, the storm rolling through.

The radio was on, turned down low, songs and people talking being skipped through. Nothing good was on.

"This is boring." John B muttered to himself, getting to his feet and looking down at the three. "Who's comin' surfing?"

Immediately, JJ's face lit up. He got to his feet with an excited expression.

Bonnie shook her head, tugging at his hand. "No, sit down. Nobody is going surfing, not in that weather."

JJ looked down at her with a pout. "Aw, c'mon, B...it's just a little fun."

"Yeah, and it can get your dumbasses killed, sit down." Bonnie ordered, still tugging on JJ's hand.

JJ huffed, sitting back down on the sofa like a child who had just been told he can't have dessert before dinner.

Bonnie smiled appreciatively toward JJ, who only grinned at John B and Pope as the two legged it out the Chateau, surf boards in hands.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Bonnie yelled, running to her feet as she stood in the now open doorway of the Chateau.

"John Booker Routledge!" Bonnie practically screamed over the wind. She could hear both John B and Pope's laughter as she tried to call after the two of them.

Once they got far enough, Bonnie's shoulders slumped as she turned back around to face JJ. "Idiots." She mumbled.

"Relax, B, they're smart." JJ reassured her, "They probably won't die."

"Key word: probably." Bonnie reminded him, taking a seat on the sofa beside him. She groaned as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"Thank you for not going out there."

JJ looked down at her, his muscles tense as he realised just how close she was. He cleared his throat, "Yeah, no worries."

The room was pretty silent, until the radio's song switched. It was My Girl by The Temptations, a song that Bonnie had always loved.

She picked up on the low volume, humming along with the song.

JJ glanced down at her humming, a smile slowly creeping its way onto his face as he got an idea. He jumped up from the sofa, making Bonnie's head fall slightly, walked over to the radio and turned the volume up. He then looked back at Bonnie with a proud smile, "Dance with me, c'mon." He held his hand out.
