Chapter 35

"This is a definite no." I commented and Darien seemed to agree with me on this one.

We've spent close to an hour now trying to figure out what I should wear for my date with Niall. My room was a disaster, it literally looked like a tornado rolled through here. Clothes were sprawled out everywhere, covering most of my floor and bed. I knew I'd have to clean it later.

I went through every dress I had except for one that I haven't worn in a long time. It was cute and simple and could easily be dressed up or dressed down which makes it very versatile. It was a light fairy pink dress that had a beautiful flow to it. The dress reached just above my knee which made it appropriate for a lot of things whilst being classy as well.

Darien handed me the dress, sighing and slumped down into my desk chair. I smiled at her and put the dress on. She was equally tired, taking out dress after dress for me. Once I had the dress on she grabbed some white lace material pink pumps and a jewlery set of pearls. Very perfect touch.

"I absolutely love it!" I cheered looking in my full length body mirror. I really liked this outfit on me.

I was so excited now! Darien finished curling my hair and I put on some lip gloss as well. Finally I was done and ready to go. I got a text saying Niall was on his way, and in that moment a rush of butterflies swarmed in my stomach and I was absolutely nervous.

"Hey." Darien noticed my anxious expression and rested her hands on my shoulders looking me straight in the eyes. "You'll be fine, it's just Nialler. You know him better than anyone else does. Don't get nervous, everything will finally work out. Just have fun and enjoy the night."

I nodded to her and wrapped my arms around her small petite body. "Thank you so much, Darien. Love you lots!" I picked up my purse under a pile of clothes once I heard the doorbell.

I made my way to the door, my heels clicking on the wood of our flat. Holding the door knob, I took in a shaky breath and decided I was ready. I opened the door to greet a handsome blonde Irish boy in front of me.

"Wow." Was all Niall said when I opened the door to the cute Irish boy I know and love.

"Good wow or bad wow?" I twirled for him.

"Amazing wow." I found myself blushing at his words and mumbled a thank you.

He stuck out his arm and I gladly linked mine in his and shut the door behind me. I smiled knowing my last glance was Darien waving and smiling like an idiot. I had a feeling she knew this day would come sooner or later.

Niall was dressed in dark blue jeans with a clean cut golf shirt, black vans, and a silver watch. I still didn't know where we were going, and his outfit didn't give it away.

He took me to his car and opened the door for me as well. His Range Rover was my favourite car he owned. Once he got into the driver side he started the engine and smiled at me. His lovely teeth were sparkling white, with no trace of braces. He looked truly happy.

"So where to Ni?" I asked fumbling with my purse on my lap.

"It's a secret, love." He winked.

"Niall you know from experience that I hate surprises." I warned and a huge smile spread across his face at the memory.

"I still remember that terrible shot." He complained as he rubbed his arm where about 10 years ago he got that shot with me. I laughed, feeling the nerves dissapear and I started to relax.

We drove off and absentmindedly he laced his fingers with mine. I didn't look though, I smiled as I watched the road. For some reason my hand in his large warm one felt right. Like I belonged there. Now lets see where this date goes...
