Chapter 43

"That was really great Niall!" I kissed him on the cheek and he went bright red.

"Thanks babe." He smiled proudly. 

I congratulated the other boys, not in the same way, but said 'good job' and 'well done.' They had just finished a live performance for a tv show. Some show that has different bands come on to perform. The boys smashed it! I was so proud of them.

The rest of our crew came up to the boys and hugged them, knowing it was really a great performance! Niall sneaked out of the group and grabbed my waist. I wasn't expecting him so I gasped which only made him smile even more.

"How about I take you on a date after we get outta here?" He hoarsely whispered in my ear. I hope nobody noticed because I was as bright red as a tomato.

I could only nod, the smile not able to fade on my face. He let go of my waist and interlocked our hands together instead. He got the attention of everyone in the room by whistling.

Still holding my hand he told the boys, the hair and make up team, the security, and Lux that he was taking me out and that he would see everyone tomorrow at sound check before the concert. Everyone agreed, nodded, whatnot. I couldn't keep myself together. His bluntness made me blush more, knowing that everyone knew what our plans were now. 

We ran out of the studio, hand in hand, to his black Range Rover sitting in the driveway. We hopped in and he started to drive. I had no idea where we were going but I realized he wanted to have a date night in once we pulled up to Nando's.

"Want me to go in and get it?" I offered, knowing this would be the fastest option. We might get held up if we see fans in the restaurant. 

"Sure, thanks love." He pecked my lips and I walked into the store.

It was a good thing that it was dark otherwise fans would have noticed. I ordered a few meals, knowing how much Niall eats. He's probably starving after his performance! The restaurant was pretty packed, so I was waiting for about twenty minutes before I got the food to go.

"What took so long? I'm starving!!" Niall exclaimed as soon as he smelled the bagged food when I got back into the car.

"It was crowded in there!" I complained, he just smiled and started the car heading in the direction of his flat.

Once we drove up into the parkway, he walked around the car and opened the door for me, grabbing the bags of food and helped me out. I smiled, taking his hand, and slid out of the high SUV. He opened the door to a dark entry room. Usually he leaves the front room light on.

"Hiiiiiiiiii!" Someone screamed making me jump back and hit the front door where Niall was. The light flickered on to reveal Harry on Liam's shoulders and Louis being held bridal style by Zayn.

"What are you lads doing here?" Niall looked just as surprised as me.

"We wanted to spend the evening with you two lovebirds!" Louis screamed out then fell from Zayn's arms to hit the floor. "Oi! Zayn why'd you drop me?" Louis rubbed his bum, smiling a little.

"You got heavy mate." Zayn shrugged like it was the obvious answer.

"Oooohh what did you get us?" Liam pointed to the Nando's take home bag.

Niall tossed him the bag and took the rest of the food into the kitchen, he wasn't so happy about them ruining our date night in. The lads, except for Harry, joined us in the kitchen and helped take the food out and transfer them onto plates. I was putting a chicken pitta sandwich onto a plate when a familiar voice said, "1,2,3!" The recognizable beat came on and Harry came into the kitchen.
