Chapter 9

I wake up the next morning at 8 a.m. and am blinded by the rays of sunlight shining into the hotel room. I rub my eyes and need a few seconds to get used to the light. The thoughts from last night immediately come back to my head. My middle immediately gets hot when I think back to the sex with Taehyung. God, I have to stop thinking about it! I quickly shake my head and look to the side at Amina, who is still fast asleep. Breakfast is in half an hour and Mr. Smith has made it clear to us that we should be at breakfast on time. I shake Amina awake and she jumps up slightly. "5 more minutes" comes out of her mouth in a sleepy voice and she turns away from me. "Amina!! We have to have breakfast in half an hour, otherwise Mr. Smith will kill us!" Amina immediately jumps up. "In half an hour?! Why didn't you say that straight away?!" I have to laugh.
"I did. Come on, let's get ready."
I get up, go to the bathroom and wash my face. Then I brush my teeth and comb my hair.
Amina does the same and after 25 minutes we leave the hotel room and go to the hotel's breakfast area.
When we get there, our whole class is already there. They are sitting at the tables and when Mr Smith notices us he smiles at us. "Good morning you two, did you sleep well?"
We both nod at him and walk to the buffet to get something to eat. I never really eat much in the morning so I just get a simple roll and two slices of salami. Amina takes the same but she takes 2 rolls and 4 slices of salami. We sit down at a free table and start eating. "Are you excited about today?" This question came unexpectedly. I've almost forgotten about the double date! Am I excited? I don't know. Actually, I don't even want this double date.
"Well, I'm actually only doing this for you and not because I really want to"
She sighs.
"Maybe you'll like it too, don't always be so negative"
I'm not that negative, I just feel that there's something weird about Taehyung. I can judge people well and I just get negative vibes from him.
"It's fine. Let's wait until Taehyung calls"

After we've finished breakfast, we all leave the breakfast area and gather with the class at the reception because the teacher wants to talk to us for a moment.
"So, you still have free time today and can do whatever you want, but tomorrow we're going to the Han River together at 1 p.m." It annoys me a bit to be here with school but it's better than not being here at all.
We all nod.
"I hope you have fun today and don't do anything stupid, okay?"
I know my class and I know that they won't take Mr. Smith's words seriously. But I don't really care, they can do what they want.

When we get back to our room, Amina's cell phone rings. "It's definitely Taehyung!" She hands me her cell phone and I'm getting nervous again. He's probably going to tell me what time the date is. I take a deep breath and press the green receiver and switch to speaker.
"Hello?"
"Hello, princess. Did you sleep well?"
When I hear his voice again, I immediately get goosebumps. His voice sounds so masculine and seductive that it drives me crazy.
"Yes, I did, and you?"
"Sure, I dreamed about you all night, princess."
He's just saying that. He didn't dream about me anyway. Or did he?
"Okay, and? Did you talk to Jungkook?"
"Yes, I did. We're meeting at 5 p.m. at Seoul Dining. Is that okay for you?"
At Seoul Dining? I hope that's not too far from our hotel. I look at Amina for a moment and she nods at me.
"Yes, 5 p.m. is fine"
"Perfect, princess. I'm really looking forward to seeing you again"
Should I tell him now that I'm looking forward to it too? Am I even looking forward to it? To be honest, I don't know, but I don't want to be rude.
"I'm looking forward to seeing you again too"
I can't see it, but I'm pretty sure he's smiling right now.
"See you later, princess. Wear something nice"
He probably still expects me to come to this date in a princess dress, which of course I won't do. I'll probably wear something simple. Nothing special.
"See you later. Don't forget my cell phone"
I hang up and give Amina her cell phone back and she smiles at me. "At 5 p.m. then? I can't wait to see Jungkook again!"
I don't understand. She's only known this guy since last night and is already acting like he's her future husband.
"You hardly know Jungkook."
"So what? Hello? Have you looked at him?! His muscular body, his tattoos and also his face?? He's exactly what I want in a man! He looks perfect!"
Well, she's right, he really does look very good. He also seems to have a good character. Hopefully she's not mistaken about him.
"Yes, yes, whatever. It's 10 o'clock now, so we still have a lot of time and I'm going to use it to laze around." I throw myself back into bed and turn on the TV. "I'm up for lazing around." She lies down on the bed next to me and we watch TV together.

Time skip..

It's now 4 p.m. and we've started getting ready. "What are you wearing, y/n?" I rummage around in my suitcase, which I still haven't unpacked, and look for a suitable outfit. I hold out a white wool sweater and a black skirt to her. "Does that fit?"
"Yes, that looks nice, try it on."
I put the outfit on and put on black tights under the skirt.
"That looks great on you!"
I look at myself in the mirror and have to admit that it really suits me. I turn around a few more times and then look at Amina. "Now, what are you wearing?"
She's holding a black top in one hand and brown pants in the other.
"What do you think of that?"
I love Amina's style and she knows it too. I like every one of her outfits.
"I love it!! Put it on!!"
She puts on the outfit and looks at herself in the mirror. "It looks very nice Amina"
She smiles at me.
"Thank you"

We're putting on make-up and doing our hair and I'm getting more nervous by the second. I keep thinking about the hot sex with Taehyung and at the same time how weird it was. One thing is clear, that can't happen again! I can't fall in love with him under any circumstances, as I'm only here for 2 weeks anyway. That's exactly why this whole dating thing is so stupid. We'll probably never see these guys again anyway. I know that Amina would also enter into a long-distance relationship, but I'm definitely not a fan of long-distance relationships.
After 30 minutes we're finished. I've straightened my hair again and Amina has curled hers again. Amina has on her cell phone looked at how far the restaurant is from our hotel and luckily it's only a 20 minute walk "We should get going now y/n" Okay, now it's time. I'm really going on a date with Taehyung. Why did I let myself be talked into it? I can't fall for him under any circumstances. That just can't happen.
We both take our handbags and then leave the hotel.
