Sweetheart whats wrong?

It had been a tough few days for Charlotte. All she wanted was for Mia to come home from holiday. She was sitting in the staff room on her break barely awake, Mia had planned on surprising her sweetheart by coming home early and surprising while she was on her break but as soon as she walked in she could tell something was wrong, "baby?" Char looked up. Surely she just imagined Mias voice, oh how she missed her. She was so tired and stressed, all she wanted was a hug from the woman she loved. "Mia?" Chars voice was low, something was definitely wrong "hello my angel" Mia said while giving her a smile "I missed you" Charlotte responded in nothing above a whisper "I missed you so much" she said starting to cry "oh sweetheart whats wrong? Im going to tell Marjorie were going home okay?" Charlotte nodded in response but as Mia stood up to leave she looked down at Char seeing her tear filled eyes "please dont go" Char said, her voice cracking.

Mia was getting increasingly worried about Charlotte, "do you want to come with me?" Mia said crouching down to meet chars eyes. Char nodded her head before taking Mias hand and holding it very tightly. As they walked into the office Char was slightly behind Mia trying to hide herself from everything and everyone. As Mia came to a stop she pulled Char into her chest where she started to cry even harder. "Marjorie" Mia said, her voice filled with worry, "Mia whats wrong you sound wor-" she turned around and saw Charlotte crying into Mias chest, "Im taking her home" She said before kissing Chars forehead. "Of course phone me if you need" Mia nodded before whispering "come on baby" She took Chars hand before leading her out to her mustang. She made sure Charlotte was comfy before placing a blanket over her to keep her warm.

When they arrived at Chars house, Mia had noticed Char was still sniffing slightly, "baby?" Char looked up, her eyes glassy. "Lets get you inside and get you Lolo hm?" Char nodded her head a tiny bit in response. Mia carried Char up into her bed and layed her down carefully before passing her the small pink bunny, "sweetheart lets get you into some pyjamas and then we can talk, sleep, watch movies whatever you need okay?" Mia was expecting a nod but she heard a small "thank you" her sweethearts voice was so quiet it broke her heart. She hated seeing Char upset.

After Mia had changed Char and herself into some pyjamas she climbed in bed next to Char making sure to cuddle her extra tightly. She knew Char would speak when she was ready. Mia put on bridgeton hoping it would make Char even a tiny bit happier. After around 20 minutes Char said, still very quietly but louder than before, "I missed you so much" Mia looked down at Char before kissing her forehead "I know my angel I missed you too". It had been an hour or so and Mia had noticed Char had fallen asleep. "I love you baby, have a good sleep"
