It hurts

Mia and Char were lying in bed watching a movie together when Mia heard Char groan, "baby?" Char sniffled before mumbling, "it hurts" Mia instantly panicked, her sweetheart being in pain broke her heart, "what hurts my angel?" mia said in a whisper. Char took Mias hand and placed it on her lower stomach, "oh sweetheart im sorry, do you want me to get you a hot water bottle?" Char nodded in response but as Mia got up she heard a small "no" she turned and saw Char crying. "Char baby ill be quick I promise" char nodded before curling up into a ball. Mia knew Char had bad period pains and had made a basket of things that usually helped with the pain.

Mia entered back into her bedroom and saw Char trying to get up. "What are you doing trying to get up? I can get you anything you need" Mia said placing the hot water bottle against Chars stomach. "Lolo" Char whispered Mia almost missed what she had said. Lolo was Chars biggest comforter, she had had her since she could remember. Char would always bring Lolo everywhere with her when she was younger, even if she just went to get a drink at night. Mia passed the bunny to Char before whispering, "do you need anything?" She asked, lightly kissing her forehead afterwards. Char was quiet and Mia looked down. Her sweetheart had fallen asleep, "sweet dreams my angel"

Char woke up and groaned in pain, trying to get into a position where the pain was more bareable, Mia woke up feeling Char tossing and turning. "Baby whats wrong" Char answered, her voice cracking, "it hurts me" she sniffled trying not to cry. "Oh sweetheart come here" she pulled char towards her so her back was against her chest, she massaged Chars stomach before whispering, "do you need anything my angel?" "no tha-" she suddenly jumped up and ran to Mias ensuite before throwing up.  Mia ran after her, holding her hair back, "oh my poor baby, let it out thats it" Mia rubbed Chars back while repeating "youre okay, let it out" Char sat back from the toilet her eyes filled with tears. "Im so sorry" she said before crying. "Sweetheart you dont have to be sorry come on lets get you cleaned up and back to bed"

Once they were back in bed, Mia peppered kisses all over Chars face before whispering, "goodnight my beautiful sweetheart, i love you" Char replied back, her voice slightly raspy, "I love you too" she cuddled herself more into Mia before they both fell asleep peacefully.
