Chapter Twenty-Eight

A week later

SKYLAR POV

Me and Kash decided he should move back with his brothers or whatever bitch he cheated with.

I've been staying at Kay Kay's house and she's been helping me with Amir. Zy even helps while he's here.

"Yo Sky", I heard Zy yell from the living room.

I stepped outside the guest room.

"Yeah".

"We're bout to smoke".

"Okay give me a second".

I went back into the room and put on my house shoes and walked to the balcony.

"Hey Sky", Kiana spoke.

I didn't know she was here.

"Hey", I spoke back.

"How's the baby?" She asked.

"He's good". 

"There's a graduation party this weekend. Sky you wanna go", Kay Kay asked.

It would be nice to go out since I haven't been in a while.

"Girl sure why not", I said pulling from the wood.

"What graduation party?" Zy asked.

"Don't worry about it. You ain't going", Kay Kay said.

"Who not?"

"We don't need you and my brothers fucking up the vibe".

"Yes please. Kash face the last I wanna see for a while", I said rolling my eyes.

"Y'all gotta talk one day best", Kay Kay said.

"One day. Not now".

I wasn't ready to face him yet. I haven't seen him since the hospital. Since I won't let him see the baby, he's been dropping off clothes and diapers at my mama's house.

TRE POV

I was sitting in the living room, rolling a wood when Twin walked in.

"Bro the craziest shit happened", he said sitting beside me.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Bro you remember old girl Chasity from that party we went to".

"What about her gang?"

"Why does she claim she is pregnant with my baby?"

My eyes widened, "You tell Melody?"

"Hell nah. Not until I know if the baby is mine or not yet".

"That party was 2 months ago gang".

"I don't believe the bitch bro. It's so hard. I think it might be one of them other niggas she was fucking with".

"What y'all talking bout?" Kash said entering the living room.

I didn't say anything.

"Nigga Chasity pregnant", Dre said.

"Damn you done fucked up" he laughed.

"Bro it was before Melody. So I really ain't tripping but damn".

"You can't be laughing at anybody else's problems", I said.

"Yeah, bro who did you cheat on her with anyway?" Dre asked.

Me and Kash made eye contact.

"Kiana", I said and Kash smacked his lips.

"Really?" He looked over at me.

"Nigga it's gone come out anyway", I said pulling from the wood.

"Nigga what the hell ? You fucked P babymoms. You could've picked any other bitch".

"Nigga I was fucked up".

"Nigga please that wasn't the first time y'all fucked. Was it?" I asked and he got quiet.

I just shook my head.

"Get ya head on straight brudda cause when sis finds out. She gone kick both y'all ass", I laughed.

KASH POV

I got in my car and just drove around. My mind has been heavy asf lately. I know I fucked up with Skylar but as long as she doesn't know that it was Kiana I think I could get her back.

P's birthday next month and I'm fucking his babymoms. That shit is hitting me hard. It's only one person I know I can talk to about this shit.

I pulled up to the jailhouse and walked through the doors.

"I'm here to see Demarcus Sr", I said to the guard and she called some other guards to come and search me.

After the search, I waited in the waiting room.

10 minutes later and he was coming out.

"Hey pops", I got up and hugged him.

"Hey son, what's up you good?"

"I don't know that's why I came to talk to you".

"Aw shit come on", he said leaning back in the seat.

15 MINUTES LATER

After explaining to pops everything that was going on. He gave me a death stare.

"You gotta get yo shit together Nigga", he said looking at me with disappointment.

"I know", I shook my head.

"What's wrong with you? You need a therapist or some. You need to see somebody?" He asked.

"Nah pops . I'll do better".

When I was 12 years old I got diagnosed with Bipolar Depression. As long as I take my meds, I'll be straight. But lately that ain't working. I don't wanna tell my pops that they ain't working cause then he might try to get my doctor to up my meds. And they don't need to be upped. I'm just going through a little something. Ain't nothing I can't get through.
