2 WEEK LATER
"Zyland", I said shaking her awake.
"What?"She said rolling over with an attitude.
"Get up. You've got 1 hour to get dressed".
She huffed before getting up.
We've been spending most nights here at Kreative Crib.
Zyland acting like she's still mad at me but I don't gaf. I gotta surprise for her ass today though.
"You sure you don't wanna go with us?", I asked Kreative.
"Nah I'm going to take the rest of Skylar's things to her place and then go see my mama".
"They're going to let her out during visitation for the memorial?"
"I hope so", she said kissing my cheek.
P's birthday is this weekend. They're having a block party for him and we're gonna release balloons and shit.
"Don't forget to lock the door".
"I'm going out at the same time as you. Come on Zy it's been over an hour", I yelled out.
"Where are we going?" She asked with an attitude.
"Told you it was a surprise. Come on", I said grabbing my keys off the counter.
"See y'all when y'all get back", Kreative said going to her car.
"Call me if you need me", I said getting into my car.
"You hungry? It's going to be a long drive", I said to Zyland
"I already ate".
"What you eat?" I asked her.
"Kreative made breakfast this morning".
"Damn, and I didn't get nun".
She rolled her eyes and looked out the window.
SKYLAR POV
It's my first week in my brand new apartment.
I finally decided to let Kash see our son but it means nothing for us. I don't want anything to do with him.
"Hey Skylar", he said walking into the apartment.
"Hey", I said back dryly
"He's in his room", I said pointing him in the direction to go.
KASH POV
I walked to the crib and saw him sleeping. Looking at him made me so emotional. This shit is crazy. I gotta baby. Like a whole son. A whole other me. I gotta man up and get on my shit. And I want my family back with Skylar, even though I heard she talking to that West nigga.
I sat in the rocking chair holding my son for a few hours.
"Is he okay"? Skylar asked coming into the room.
I nodded my head.
"Aye Skylar", I called her name making her turn around.
"What Kash?" She rolled her eyes.
"Let me take him to my crib for a few nights. I know you need a break".
She stared at me with this deadly look.
"Come on Sky. My brothers are going to be there. They ain't got too see him yet. Let me keep him".
