We sat across from each other, waiting for our meals, but I could barely contain my happiness. I kept smiling to myself, completely lost in the moment.

Yn: Why are you smiling like that?
she asked, raising an eyebrow as she began to eat.

Tae: Nothing, I'm just... happy. The weather is really nice today.

Yn: It was so cloudy. You’re such a bad liar.
she laughed, accidentally dropping her spoon.

Tae: Hey, don’t pick it up! I’ll get you a new one.

Yn: It's okay; I'll just call the waiter.

Tae: No, let me. It'll be faster.
I said, already on my feet before she could argue. When I returned, she was watching me with a blank expression.

Tae: Here you go.
I said, handing her the spoon with a smile.

Yn: Thanks. Let's eat before it gets cold.

Before she could dig in, I leaned over and began mixing her food, making sure to cut everything into smaller pieces.

Yn: That’s my bowl.
she said, half-laughing.

Tae: I know. I’m just making it easier for you to enjoy.
I said, passing it back to her with a grin. She took the bowl, rolling her eyes, but I could see a hint of warmth in her gaze.

As her phone rang...

Yn (on call): Hello?... Dinner? With Suga too? Ah, I'm actually busy,
she said, ending the call quickly. I smiled, feeling a little burst of pride that, this time, she hadn’t left me alone.

Tae: Was it Jimin?

Yn: yeah, he wanted to have dinner together.

Tae: Why didn’t you invite them here?
I teased.

Yn: By the time they got here, we’d be done eating.

Suddenly, Jimin’s voice boomed behind us.

Jimin: Hello, my friends! Am I not fast or what?
he announced with a grin as he approached with Suga by his side.

Tae: How’d you find us here?

Suga: Pure coincidence.

Jimin: Taehyung and Yn, sneaking off to dinner? What’s going on here?
he teased, winking at both of us.

Suga: Thought Yn was 'busy working' but here she is, having dinner with Tae – and he’s even preparing her food!
He smirked.

Yn: It’s just a coincidence! But if you guys want to join, go ahead.

Jimin: Sure thing!
He started to slide in beside me, but Suga held him back.

Suga: No way! Don’t want to accidentally spoil their little dinner date. We’ll sit over here,
he said, motioning to the table next to ours.

Suga: Right, Jimin.
He looked at him.

Tae: Pretty sure that table’s reserved…

Suga: It is – by me.
He laughed as they settled in nearby.

Jimin: So, Tae’s preparing her food? Oh my, how romantic and that spoon moment was just great.
He said teasingly.

Suga: Hashtag Yn-not-a-good-liar.

Tae: Guess we’re exposed. Should we just tell them we’re a couple already?
I joked, nudging Yn with a smirk.

Yn: Couple my ass.
she scoffed, laughing.

After dinner, yn walked out with jimin and Suga from the restaurant together.

Yn: Fine, I’m a sucker. I got soft and agreed to dinner. You two can scold me all you want.
she said, looking resigned.

Jimin: We’re not here to scold you. I'm just happy you’re finally opening up.

Yn: It’s not that. I just wanted to open my heart a little.

Suga: And now that you have, what do you see?

Yn: I see a side of Taehyung I've always wanted to. He’s not just my friend but He....he also feels the same way I do.
she said softly, her voice trailing as if lost in thought. Memories of his kind gestures, his constant presence, flooded her mind.

Yn: But... when he starts dating someone new, he does these things too. It feels... like it’s nothing special. She frowned, as if trying to convince herself to stay cautious and not getting her hopes too high.

Jimin: Since when did you start judging love so harshly?

Yn: I guess I’ve learned to use my brain in love, rather than just my heart.

Jimin: Well, Taehyung’s using his heart entirely with you. If you want a real answer, you’ll have to use your heart too.
He glanced over at yn when taehyung walked near them playfully.

Tae: What’re you guys chatting about? I asked, sensing the seriousness of their conversation.

Suga: "Shush"
He said trying to stop me.

Tae : don't you shush me, go and pay your bills, I only payed for yn.

I gazed at yn, catching her amused smile as she looked at me. That look alone made my heart skip a beat.

Back at my place, Yn looked around, surprised as we entered.

Yn: Did you rearrange your house? It looks so different.

Tae: You always say my place is messy, so I cleaned up and decorated it… for when you come over to watch movies. I said, slipping off my shoes as she wandered around.

I picked up a CD from the shelf.

Tae: Oh, I got a movie for you. Borrowed it from Suga – I know it’s one of your favorites. Let’s watch it together.

Yn: But you don’t usually like animated movies.
She said, surprised.

Tae: That was before… now I do,
I replied, smiling warmly at her.

Suddenly, she noticed something on the table – a pair of heels in a glass display box.

Yn: Taehyung… are these mine?
she asked, picking them up gently, her eyes widening.

Tae: Yeah, remember? First year… we all went to the lake for a picnic. We argued, you threw that heel at me, and it landed in the lake. You cried until I jumped in to get it.
I chuckled, reminiscing.

Yn: I didn’t cry over the heel! I thought you’d drown, you idiot.
she replied, rolling her eyes, but her cheeks flushed.

Tae: Yeah, yeah. I know you care about me; you don’t have to hide it anymore.

Yn: Whatever. But why did you display it like this?

Tae: It’s special. A memory I wanted to hold onto. But don’t get too attached – I’m not giving it back.

I met her gaze, raising a brow playfully.

She let out a soft laugh, her eyes sparkling, and that laughter… it felt like it could melt every part of me.
