You stand there frozen, feeling the blood drain from your face. It was one thing to come here within the party system with Jinwoo, but for the quest to not only be in the upper levels but also for the monsters to be actively hunting you down as well.
Jinwoo, noting the way you're frozen cautiously asks, "Y/N? Is everything alright?"
You inhale sharply before turning you head down to your shadow, "Go back to Jinwoo, you are not allowed with me for this quest."
This shocks Jinwoo, what do you mean his shadows aren't allowed? Wait... does this mean he too!?
You smile sadly at Jinwoo, "I'm afraid we go our separate ways this time."
"What?"

"Uggghhh this is nasty." you gag off to the side as you pick up a fragment piece from a demon's corpse. The system was nice enough to outline the general area of the pieces, even a little counter for how many on each floor.
Yukio and Ignis are having a field day just absolutely slaughtering whatever demon was in the way. You were shocked with how well they fought. You had sent out your butterflies to do offense and defense but that wasn't needed.
The two often fought with combo attacks, the favorite is Yukio freezing the demon completely and Ignis either shattering it or sending a hot flame, making the frozen demon combust. You are now a bit scared of your children.
Now you may be wondering why Ignis and Yukio can all of a sudden fight despite not having any chapters dedicated to their training. That's because Yukio found some powerful buff snacks and shared them with Ignis. The two have farmed a great amount of EXP and you know some changes are going to happen, you hope its not like puberty. But you're babies might not be babies much longer.
