SORRY!!!!! I've been so busy with work that I forgot this fic existed. And my computer battery exploded and I don't like writing on anything other than computers.

Previously on Solo Panicking

'No, no, no, no, no! I did not just fall over like a dumb horror movie person!!' you're quick to get up but Ignis was quicker in jumping on the creature and was clawing at it. It screeched again before throwing Ignis off and snapped it head towards you and jumped at you.

You once again knock it back with the wooden spoon and Yukio uses that little distraction to freeze the being with all her might. There's a moment of silence finally and before Ignis could fire at the block of ice once more, its limb twitched.

"Oh no–"

This was not good, not good at all. Maybe you should've let the 'human not human' thing have some of your food but it's a little too late now. Ignis takes no time to fire at the block of ice and all is silent except for a silent groaning.

'Oh fu- why hasn't it been knocked out yet?!' you cry internally, once again raising the spoon. You hear a tiny cracking sound and turn a bit to see Yukio popping her neck then knuckles.

"Yu–" you start uncertain, but the pixie blasts off and gets into a tussle with the creature. You and Ignis stand to the side as the throwdown goes down.

"Oh!" you cringe slightly at the nasty hair pull Yukio gave the creature. Even Ignis winced a bit. A cartoon-like cloud appeared around the two brawling magical creatures. Shouts and high pitched battle cries and the sounds of fighting were the only thing telling you and Ignis what was going on.

"I– I'm glad at least one of you is level headed haha–" your laugh falls a bit flat but look down to Ignis who (was absolutely about to jump the creature himself) looks a bit sheepish and had turned to face the fight once again.

"Wha– ugh never mind, join in if you want." you say a bit defeated as Ignis immediately disappears into the cartoon cloud, the sounds of Iggy growling and snarling are now heard in addition to the previous shouts and high pitched battle cries.

You stand there watching the three fight, those kids better win. While they are distracted you set on making a nice yummy treat for when they're done, despite the fact the meal you made not even minutes before wasn't eaten.

You quickly decide on Bungeoppang feeling a bit nostalgic, looking into the system's store, you bought the ingredients and the fish shaped pan to make the Bungeoppang.

The necessary ingredients and the measurements needed are, one cup all purpose flour, a half teaspoon of kosher salt, a half teaspoon of baking soda, one tablespoon of white sugar, one cup plus two tablespoons of water, and one tablespoon vegetable oil, and lastly canned sweet red beans.

Taking out a bowl you proceed to combine the flour, kosher salt, baking soda, and sugar into the bowl. You then add the water and grab a whisk and begin mixing it together. After that is said and done you grab the sieve, which is a tool used to strain liquids from solids. You hold the sieve over another bowl and pour the mixture through, it takes a moment but the batter does get to a nice silky state without any lumps.

A quick glance at the group shows Yukio grabbing the thing's hair while Ignis is biting it's arm. The creature is trying to pull Ignis off by yanking at his horn. You quietly look down once again to the makeshift kitchen you got going with a blank expression. Is this your life now... probably.

You put the bungeoppang mold pan on the makeshift stove and turn the heat down to low. But honestly you could probably cook it on the ground as well. Opening the pan you coo a little at the two small fish molds, just so cute! Grabbing some vegetable oil you grease both the upper and lower fish molds in a quick spirt enough for a light coating.

Grabbing the bowl you pour the batter into one side of the fish mold until it's about a third full, and then doing the same to the other little fish. Getting a tablespoon you scoop some sweet red beans and add a tablespoon to the center of each. You then gently fill up the rest of the fish mold with the batter to cover up the sweet red beans and fill up the bottom half of the mold. Closing the mold after filling it you set a timer for three minutes on the system.

Leaning against the counter you open the system and mindlessly scroll through the shop and while ignoring the trio. You don't register that the fight finally paused, the three then scarff down the food you had cooked before the fight had begun.

The timer beeps and you turn the pan over and let it cook for another 3 minutes. You once again scroll through the shop, none of the items really catching your eye. The second three minute timer goes off and you grab a small spatula to get the small Bungeoppang out.

Placing the two fishes on a plate you pour more batter onto the freshly empty pan, wanting to repeat the process so that no batter will be left over. If there's any sweet red beans leftover you could probably offer them up to Ignis, or save it for another dish.

A total of six Bungeoppang were made, most of them eaten by Yukio, Ignis, and The Creature. Thankfully they were kind enough to save one for you. But that might've been due to the fact the trio is taking a nap in an odd little corner with blankets and pillows.

"... I'll just look for fragments by myself then." you whisper to yourself, not before leaving a few butterflies to act as defense and sentry's for the sleeping trio.

Finding fragment pieces was both easy and difficult at the same time. Its easy in the way it stands out. A nice bright blue floating around. Upon a closer look, its a rhombus shaped light with some particles/glitter coming off of it.

The difficult part is the wait. A small download screen appeared and thus became the slow process of downloading the fragment, this wasn't the difficult part though, it was more after the wait time.

Turning around you are met with the sight of demons slowly surrounding your position, all waiting. As soon as the download is complete they attack. It has been a long day, maybe two time doesn't seem to be an obvious change like it is on Earth with the sun and moon.

This excursion so far has given you pretty good experience in handling demons (sending them Yukio's and Ignis's way) and in practicing your offensive abilities. Your blood butterflies and some magic spells have really come in handy.

A small beep from the download screen told you that there were less than fifteen seconds left in the download time. You crack your fingers and adjust your stance to a more comfortable one. A knife appears in your hand, ready to spill blood. Sadly it's your blood but it won't be sad for too long once the Sanguiras devour the demons.

"Alright lets do this."

Jinwoo looked across the blazing horizon, ignoring the chattering of the demoness or Esil beside him. Ever since him and Y/N split ways, things have been dull. Like he doesn't have a reason to go all out or even do it himself. Just leaving most of the work for his Shadow Soldiers.

A yell from Iron breaks his brooding thoughts and whips his head around in time to see Iron dragging a massive head towards him.

"HEY! I told you not–"

Ignis stirs from the napping pile. His head feels heavy, scratch that his entire being feels heavy. He might being getting sick, he hopes Longmu returns soon.

Heres chapter 37! And some more unfortunate news, someone or company I don't know swept AO3 for training an AI, and my work wasn't spared from that, if you were one of those people whose works also got swept I'm truly sorry and this sort of thing shouldn't have happened.
