A month went by and Anna had begun to learn quickly as she progressed quicker than expected.
Loki helped her more than anyone else as he had true patience.
He wanted to see her learn as he watched her power grow.
Jane left a week ago with Thor leaving only Anna and Loki as well as the guards and other people similar to that.
Thor knew Anna needed space but what made him certain of leaving for at least a month or so was the change in Loki.
He started to notice how his eyes softened when Anna walked into a room or how when they were training he enjoyed being close to her.
He gave his brother credit as until now Thor wasn't sure that Loki could love anything.
It was early but Anna was up after having another nightmare.
The dark circles under her eyes were getting more present each day but it was nothing a little of Jane's concealer couldn't fix.
She sat in the bathhouse inside the castle playing with the still water in the very large bath that was almost like a swimming pool.
She was exhausted and could barely keep her eyes open today.
Breakfast was in about so she was just trying to hold on until then.
Suddenly a servant came into a bathhouse.
"My apologies miss but breakfast is served.
Prince Loki wished for me to collect you" the servant said.
Anna looked at her.
She didn't realise time had gone by so fast.
"Ok," Anna followed the servant to the dining hall.
She passed everyone as she made her way to the table at the very back where Loki was sitting.
She sat next to him and yawned softly.
"Anouther nightmare?" he asked.
"Yes.
I'll be fine" she said.
She looked at him.
"Go rest.
I will have you collected when I wish to train with you" he said.
"I'm ok I swear," she said.
"Don't lie to me" he said.
She sipped the wine in the cup just beside her plate.
He groaned before continuing to eat.
She looked at her plate before resting her head on her hand.
She closed her eyes before sitting up.
She wouldn't fall asleep.
Time went on as the noise coming from in front of her dulled.
Without truly realising her head fell onto Loki's shoulder making him jump.
He looked over before smirking.
"Poor little dove.
Couldn't stay awake could you?" he said before flicking her hand so a blanket apeared wrapped around her.
He went back to eating ignoring how his heart fluttered knowing that she truly trusted him.
Hours went by but to Anna, it felt like seconds.
She fluttered her eyes open and yawned as she stretched.
She hadn't slept that well since she had been in high school.
She sat up and looked around before panicking.
She didn't recognise the room.
She looked at the bed as her eyes went wide.
It was huge and was covered with green and black silk sheets.
As she continued to piece together the now-forgotten details Loki walked into the room from another room attached to the one she was in.
"How did I get here?" she asked.
"You fell asleep during breakfast.
I had you brought here so you could rest" he said.
"Thank you," she said.
He sat in the chair in the corner of the room.
"There's no need to thank me," he said.
"I haven't slept since I arrived here.
I don't know why but I have never slept so well in this room" she said.
They looked at each other.
"What room is this?" she asked, still curious.
"These are my chambers.
It's where you will be staying from now on instead of that dull room my brother put you in" he said.
His chambers?
She looked at him.
She slept perfectly in his bed, under his sheets.
At that moment something snapped within her.
He was the key.
If she wanted control and to live as she did he needed to stay in her life.
