Later that night, Aanya tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep. Rohan's face lingered in her thoughts, a shadow in the corner of her mind that wouldn't leave. The familiarity nagged at her, and she found herself replaying their conversation, trying to decipher the cryptic hints in his words.

She reached for her phone, scrolling through her messages to distract herself. Sana had already texted her twice, gushing about how mysterious Rohan was.

Sana: That guy is totally into you! Are you seeing him again?

Aanya sighed, typing out a quick reply. She wasn't ready to admit that she felt the same pull toward him.

Aanya: I don't know yet. There's something off about him, though.

Sana: Oh, come on. He's just intense. You need a little excitement in your life!

Aanya smiled at her friend's enthusiasm, but the unease she felt about Rohan was real. There was something lurking beneath the surface—something she couldn't quite put her finger on. She closed her eyes, hoping sleep would come soon, but the darkness only seemed to intensify the feeling that Rohan was not just some random stranger who had wandered into her life.

Little did she know, her instincts were right. They had met before—years ago, in a moment she had long buried in the recesses of her memory. And soon, that past would come rushing back, pulling her into a web of love, lies, and betrayal.
