Later that night, after Raj and the officers had combed through her apartment once more, they sat with Aanya to discuss their next steps. Raj's face was tense, his brow furrowed.
"Aanya, it's clear that Rohan's playing a game," Raj said. "He wants control, and he's trying to break you down."
"But why?" Aanya asked, her voice barely a whisper. "Why me?"
Raj looked at her with sympathy. "He's fixated on you. We've seen this pattern before—obsessive behavior, stalking, manipulation. But this is more personal. He's gone deeper than we anticipated."
Aanya shivered, wrapping her arms around herself. "What do I do? I can't keep living like this."
